Rosie’s Daily Wag 📰

What a lovely Thursday!🐾

Today I started off my morning with a great gang- sister duo Sadie&Ruby, Bonnie, Sky and besties Jessie and Rocky. Sadie and Ruby kept everyone in check in true collie style, they ran through the bushes and chased the ball 🎾 Sky joined in the fun but stuck close by me like the loyal girl she is! Rocky and Bonnie were whizzing around, grateful for the dry weather, playing a game of chase! Jessie took a more relaxed approach to the walk and had lots of cuddles and treats 🦴

For our second walk, Sadie&Ruby and Sky stayed out for the fun and we were joined by Dora, Luna, Daisy, Coco and Sadie! Dora, Luna and Daisy were full of beans, running riot and playing their favourite game of chase🥰Luna had her usual zooms and got everyone all revved up to play! Sadie isn’t usually on this group but settled straight in, joining in the fun and games! 🐶 Coco my tiny little bean pranced around, trying her best to let her little legs keep up with her pals🥹

Finally for my last walk we had Bella, Hoolie, Layla, Koba&Todd, Poppy and Roger and Sadie&Ruby who were still out for the day🥰! Besties Hoolie and Layla took a relaxed approach to our walk today, sniffing in the bushes and checking in for lots of love! Bella is our precious old lady so is always up for a chilled walk, doing her own thing and having lots of pets from all the walkers🩷Poppy, Roger and Koba and Todd did not quite get the same memo for a relaxed walk and were full speed ahead as always🥰😂Poppy and Roger played chase, closely followed by Koba and his little brother Todd😂

Jess and her family are officially off on holiday!

If you need anything while she’s away, please bear with us and pop a message in the whats app chats, email - [email protected] or message on here and someone from the team will do their best to pick it up and help where they can. Jess won’t have Wi-Fi while she’s away.

Thank you all so much for your patience and understanding. We hope Jess and her family have the best time making memories!

The printer seemed to stop working yesterday for our Daily Wag column…please forgive us 🫣 We’re here first thing to keep you updated on how Mitch’s day at the office went….

Well what a rubbish day for weather 😩 it’s officially hitting probably my least favourite season as well as the majority of my pups 🤣

Started my soggy day with the wonderful Roxy bear who was equally as unhappy with the weather 🤣 but we soldiered on and had a good run around!

Next up was Ollie boy who couldn’t care less what the weather is as long as he has his ball 😍 we had a good run around for half hour before heading home!

Then made my way to the gorgeous duo Nala & Dobbie for our 45 minute tootle and 15 minute cuddle, honestly I think their favourite part was the snacks and cuddles 🥹💙🩷

Then I made my way over to the lovely girls Sansa & Bonnie, we got an hour of probably the best weather we’ve had all day, as always they LOVED their little outing and even got to come home to their dad 😍💙

After Sansa & Bonnie I made my way to my gorgeous big baby Arya, this pop in was a little different as there were workmen in the garden so we headed out for a little walk after some much needed treats and cuddles!

Finally I ended my day with the duo that is Teddy & Cooper, we had a lovely walk with minimal rain but LOTS of sniffs, kisses and cuddles 💙

Our mission..

Hi everyone. We’ve got a little mission, and we really need your help.

Can we get 100 shares in one hour for Luna and Shannon?

These two girls have spent all their lives in kennels, and we just want to find them the loving, forever homes they deserve.

We need people who understand rescue dogs, who have patience, who are willing to give them time to settle in and learn what it’s like to live in a home, feel safe, and finally be part of a family.

They need homes with no other dogs, no cats, and children over the age of ten. That’s not because they’re bad dogs in any way. It’s simply because they haven’t experienced living in a home with those things, and we want to give them the best possible chance of finding a home where they can settle and stay for life.

We’re not looking for just any home. We’re looking for the right home for each of them.

So please, if you can’t adopt, share this post. You never know who might see it. It could reach the person who changes everything for Luna or Shannon.

Let’s come together as a community and see if we can get those 100 shares in an hour.

It would mean the world to us, but more importantly, it could mean the world to them.

Our walker Miang has edited today’s Daily Wag 📰

It is a very wet day out there, but our brave pack didn't let a bit of rain slow them down!

​Walk 1:
Out on the field with Boris, Cosmo, Betty, Meg, Kipper, Foley, and Leo! Kipper and Foley had a great time splashing and playing together, while Meg joyfully ran around yapping away in the rain. Cosmo, Betty, and Leo all set off to explore the sights, and Boris happily walked right nearby the group throughout the walk.

​Walk 2:
Our afternoon crew featured Coco, Rex, Whisk, Milo, and Cosmo out on the field! Coco, Rex, and Whisk stayed close by our side, making sure to stick together in the wet weather. Meanwhile, Milo and Cosmo had a fantastic time playing together and keeping the energy high.

​Well done to all our soggy superstars for braving the rain today! Time to dry off and curl up for a well-earned nap. 🐾🌧️

You stole our hearts, Skye…

I must have typed and deleted the start of this post about 30 times, because I don’t quite know how to begin… and, truthfully, I don’t really want to.

I’m not sure there are words that properly describe how I feel, but I’m writing this with tears in my eyes and rolling down my cheeks.

From the very early days, Skye has been by my side every week. She’s been there through every stage of Redditch Dog Walking, from the days when I didn’t have enough dogs to fill the diary and we’d stay out for hours simply because we could, to the days before secure paddocks, when she’d take absolutely any opportunity to disappear after a herd of deer. 🙈

I couldn’t begin to count the hours we spent trying to track her down, only to spot her in the distance, a tiny speck, having the time of her life while we most definitely weren’t! 😂

I watched her grow from a wriggly puppy who refused to do anything in my training classes to finally mastering her first sit-stay. 🥹 She was there when we bought our house and made it the official RDW headquarters, and she’s been part of every step of this journey. Carrying on without her feels so strange.

Choosing photos of her best moments has been heartbreaking. So many memories, and so many familiar faces who I hope are there to welcome her now. 💔

Things really won’t be the same without you, Skye. You’ve been a constant in my life for the last eight years, although I do feel it’s only in the last six months that I’ve been able to enjoy walking you without having my shoulder pulled out of its socket. Before that, I was mostly hanging on to your 100-metre long line while you flew me like a kite in pursuit of whatever took your fancy. 😂

I’m going to miss you so much, my girl. Thank you for eight years of adventures, chaos and memories I’ll always treasure.

Say hello to everyone for me, and please make sure you’re all waiting when we’re finally reunited, hopefully in about 80 years, though. You can practise your sit-stay while you wait 💗🐾

Meg’s kicking off the week with The Daily Wag 📰

It was a soggy start so wellies on and we were ready for our first adventure. The boys were roaring to go Teddy, Harley and Sir Rodrigo and let off steam play chase. Bella enjoyed taking in all the smells and rolling in the wet grass.

Next up we can more fun and games with Cosmo, Betty, Tilly & Dottie setting the bar for all the games. Closing followed by Peggy and Pedro who make sure they get lots of cuddle. Beau made best friends with Ted, bouncing and rubbing into each other.

We ended the day with another adventure around bordsley although Tobie and Billie were more interested in the ball. Tilly was showing everyone has fast she was running through the long grass. Molly and Capser enjoyed playing with Alfie 💓

⚠️ Please read!!!! ⚠️

We’ve been made aware of a couple of local cases of kennel cough, which is highly contagious and can spread quickly between dogs.

Please look out for symptoms such as a dry, hacking cough, gagging, sneezing or a runny nose. Dogs can sometimes cough or gag when excited, so please let us know if you notice this, even if you’re unsure whether it’s kennel cough.

If your dog shows any symptoms, please keep us in the loop and let us know as soon as possible, before their scheduled walk. Please keep them off walks until they’ve recovered.

If we arrive and are unable to walk your dog due to symptoms, the walk will still be chargeable. Late notice affects our walkers, our schedule and the business, as well as risking the spread of infection to other dogs.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in helping us keep all our lovely dogs, walkers and the RDW family safe!

Friday kisses headlining this Friday’s Daily Wag 🥹

Another wonderful day with my pups🥰 The cold wasn’t stopping anyone today!

I started with my boy Tyson, we had a lovely walk through the woods & he had the ultimate zoomies once we got onto the field! I’m super proud of this boy, his confidence is growing daily.

Next I had the beautiful Dylan, we had a lovely run over the fields, followed by lots of rubs in the wet grass (it wouldn’t be a walk with Dylan without him doing this 😆) always a pleasure with Dyl.

I then went over to the golden girl Lexi⭐️ we had a beautiful walk through the woods and then a lovely run on the field. Lexi is an angel & we of course finished with kisses and belly rubs!

Next I went over to the beautiful duo, Milo & Luna! We had another lovely walk down to the park, the squirrels were out in full force today so we did our usual squirrel watching antics 🐿️ These pair are as good as gold & we finished our walk with a treat as always!

Lastly I went over to Mr Parker! We had our usual half an hour stroll which ended with a treat for the beautiful boy. It was actually Parker’s birthday today so we of course had a birthday photo & a play with a ball! Happy birthday beautiful Parker 🤍

Catch up with Lauren today in our Daily Wag.

Another busy and wonderful day out with my pups 🐶🐾

Today’s adventures included 3 walks which included Daisy, Lilly, Toffee, Bea, U*i, Rafa, Rae, Charlie, Zepp, Hugo, Bailey, Ralph, Reggie, Cooper, Rosa, Poppy, Maple, Sid, Nancy, Luna and Nellie! 🐾

We enjoyed plenty of fresh air, lovely walks, lots of sniffing and exploring, and of course, plenty of wagging tails along the way 🌿

Every day brings its own little adventures, and I feel so lucky to spend my time with such wonderful personalities.

A big thank you to all my lovely clients for trusting me with your precious pups. I absolutely love what I do ❤️
