Who remembers Evan my old GP dog who served with me on deployment at the Birmingham Bullring!

Well here he is strutting his stuff as part of Merseyside Police Dog Unit, supporting Lancashire Police as well.

Evan is imported from Mersak kennels in poland with stunning health tests and an amazing bloodline

In the early hours of this morning a stolen car was pursued by towards Cheshire and Merseyside.

Colleagues from Merseyside Police and Cheshire Police assisted including dogs from each force.

The stolen vehicle made contact with colleagues in an attempt to eveade capture but team work, experience and training lead to the stolen car being stopped just off Junction 22 M6.

Two detained in the vehicle but the driver fled.

Merseyside Dogs being the first dog to land made light work of tracing and detaining the fleeing driver.

Looking for a new 🏡🏡🏡

7.5 year old Retired police GP GSD

Stunning black and tan male that has serviced his force well and is looking for a forever home, has lived with spaniels but handler is unable to keep him as he is not seeing eye to eye with his handlers new GP dog, he is being castrated due to some prostate issues. He isnt keen on the vets but will happily wear a muzzle when being seen by them.

He is still active and wants to go for walks so looking ideally for someone who has experience with GSDs and doesnt ideally have other dogs or has a female thats easy to get along with.

He is not with me but I can put you in contact with the force is served with.

I do love working my old girl, she has been one of the best dogs ive ever added to my team, her clarity, stability, temperment and workability have never failed me.

She produced me some unbelievable pups and her pups have then gone on to produce further. Shes stood by my side for years and still gives it the all. She goes to the care home with me, pubs and so much more.

2 months ago I lost my amazing Mother. 1 month ago I buried her and said goodbye loosing my best friend hurt me so much and hurt the dogs not having their MeeMaw anymore.

Today we ran the 5K and what ana amazing day it was, what made it more special was having Sarah Elizabeth by my side, she knows i am most likely gonna get us caught in weird funny S**t but she still says yes to my ideas.

Neither of us are runners, neither of us are in the best shape but the enjoyment we had today has been something that was needed, I've smiled again and laughed for the first time in a while, all while raising money for an amazing cause.

As it currently stands we have raised £1875!!!
