When mom takes us to the park and she serious…about having fun. 🤣

We did do some training and the inner child came out and she went on a ride…we followed her of course and probably wondered - what the flip is she doing?! 🐾

Cockers…I’ve been told….’they’re crazy, they are hyper, they don’t sit still’ 🤔

Cockers…are not meant to move in straight lines. Instead of throwing a ball backwards and forwards….hide your dog’s eyes…chuck the ball…🎾

Pause, and release the dog…(no commands given) and watch them hunt….its one of their breed characteristics they like it…a lot..and it tires them out…your welcome 🤎

Labradors….Loyal, biddable and easy to train..🤔

They don’t always all start out like this….confident and strong…his training journey has been slow…on purpose.

At first small sessions with plenty of fun thrown in….the direction of your training is more important than the speed. 🐾

When the wild rehab case…walks to heel off lead 😎

Hold…hold…hold….some dogs seem to be natural carriers and holders of toys / dummies and maybe some unwanted items!

This little chap no so…but I found an item he loved…a dish cloth…so I worked with that…it can be a hair brush…tea towel…paint roller…but they will tend to favour an item…

Training sessions were short, and rather repetitive but most of all fun…and now….he will come in and deliver to hand…rather than drop the item.

Sometimes you have to think outside the box! 🤔

Practice makes progress folks. 🐾

I love working with my clients and enjoy teaching them…but what they don’t know at the start…..is that when they believe in themselves….it all starts to come together 🤎🐾

The natural behaviour of a dog! Helps clean teeth, provides nutrients and enriches his day too. Delicious 🥩
