Happy pups in the salon🥰

Here are some of the dogs I’ve had in over the summer🤍

The summer months can be very difficult for me to carry out grooms due to the heat, here are some of the ways I keep the salon cool:
- windows are blacked out🖤
- windows at both ends cracked open to create a breeze/ draft🌬️
- fan is on permanently🪭
- non urgent areas (ears, tails) are left to air dry if it is heating up with the dryer on🐶
- cool water available at ALL TIMES🧊
- cool water for washing with🚿
- ALL GROOMS ABANDONED IF IT IS TOO HOT🔥

Your dog’s health and safety is my biggest priority while they are with me. And overheating is very common over the summer, so putting off a groom for few days until it is a cooler temperature is much safer for them✨

Hopefully, we don’t have much extreme heat left this year and it won’t be long until I have my thermals on again😂

Bailey came this week to get a trim for his parent’s wedding over the weekend🐝

He loves to show off his hair after he gets it cut, so he usually sits and shows me just how happy he is with it. Perfect for a photo shoot😆

Sadie is wedding ready🤍

This is Sadie, the Show Cocker Spaniel. Her groom this week was in preparation for her parents wedding🥰

I made sure she looked fab and smart for the big day😉

I hope her owners have a beautiful day and thank you for picking me time and time again to make Sadie look even cuter than she already is🩷

This is Ralph, the Cocker Spaniel🥰

He is groomed every 8 weeks and gets his coat taken right down EVERY time. This is great for any pet dog; it is low maintenance, less fuss for the dog during the groom and much cooler for them💚

He isn’t the biggest fan of being groomed, but he is SO happy afterwards, which is the main thing. I make sure he is comfortable and calm throughout✌️

His mam has her own business making wax melts and reed diffusers. THEY ARE AMAZING. This is Ruth’s business page

Cooper is a Wirehaired Vizsla with lots of energy🥰

He comes to me every 3/4 months for a full hand strip. His coat comes away so easily👍🏼

He generally likes his grooms as he is always wagging. When he fancies a break, he hands me his paw to let me know. This is when he gets a fuss/ tickle or let out for a mad 5 minutes😆

Cooper is great company for me in the salon. He hasn’t quite grasped the concept of personal space yet (see in pictures 5+6) but I LOVE HIM🤍

I am away on holiday this week🏖️I will respond to any messages on SUNDAY😇Thank you all for your patience🤍

AVAILABLE APPOINTMENTS

Hi everyone, these appointments are available for my regular customers or any NEW ones💛

My books are still closed for regular doggies, but can happily have new ones in for this one off appointment✌️

It can be for a full groom or a wash and dry, message me asap and I will book you in for it✅

If you want a wash in between grooms, this is the perfect opportunity to get them in🥰

Little Teddy!!!

He comes to me every 5/6 weeks for his groom as his coat grows SO fast. The last 2 pictures are before his hair cut, you can see just how fluffy he comes in🙈

Teddy has sensitive skin, so, I use calming shampoo and conditioner to ensure his time is the salon isn’t uncomfortable🥰

He absolutely loves to follow me round the salon after his grooms, especially when he knows I have food (PICTURE 2)😆

These 2 girls have been with me right from the start and I absolutely love them💝

Dolly (right) has very delicate skin and brushing often leads to brush burn. So, for her groom I take her coat short which is low maintenance and doesn’t need too much brushing in between appointments✌️

Bindi (left) is very playful and I often find her wiggling her way across the table to give my face a lick😆

Both girls are great company for me in the salon and enjoy a calm, stress free zone🫶🏼
