📢 Notice for Our Clients

We are currently experiencing an issue with our Google Maps listing, which may be directing people to other veterinary practices instead of our clinic.

Most of our clients already know where to find us, but we wanted to make everyone aware in case you’re using Google Maps for directions.

We are working with Google to correct this through their recertification process. Unfortunately, it may take up to a week for the changes to be fully updated.

Thank you for your patience and understanding. If you’re unsure of our location, please don’t hesitate to give us a call and we’ll be happy to help.

Pretty little Penny came in for her dental procedure today and completely stole our hearts 🐶🦷

Penny made great use of our current dental promotion and received a full dental assessment, including full mouth x-rays, to thoroughly check each tooth.
Her teeth were in great condition, so she only needed a scale to keep her smile healthy and sparkling.

By treating the early signs of dental disease now, we are able to avoid extractions and help reduce future problems.

She was an absolute superstar throughout her visit and loved plenty of cuddles afterwards.

As this tropical weather looks set to continue, please take extra care when exercising your dogs ☀️🐶

There’s a lot of information circulating at the moment, but the simple truth is this: a dog has never died from missing a walk, but they can die from heatstroke.

Please consider walking very early in the morning or later in the evening when temperatures are cooler. For some dogs — especially flat-faced breeds, elderly dogs, overweight pets, or those with underlying health conditions — a short toilet break and gentle potter in the shade may be more than enough.

If in doubt, skip the walk and keep them cool, hydrated, and safe ❤️

Dental procedures allow us to scale the teeth to remove tartar, extract diseased teeth when needed, and take dental X-rays to assess the teeth below the gumline.

We are looking for an RVN to help our team, whilst we recruit for a permanent nurse.

Part-time/ full time role considered.

Would be a mix of consults and theatre. Day and evening shifts

Surgery open 8am-8pm so within this time frame. Potential for occasional Saturday morning shift.

Supported by 4 vets, 7 other RVNS, 2 ANA’s and reception team.

Would consider short term or potentially a few months help.

We have a white domestic Short hair cat brought in following a road traffic accident.

No microchip but is wearing a pale coloured collar with no tag.

Male entire. He was found on park road waterfoot.

New food waste bins have popped up across the valley — great for the environment, but they can be very tempting for our four-legged friends!

The smells inside can be irresistible to pets and local wildlife, and unfortunately getting into them can lead to tummy upsets, choking hazards, or even more serious issues.

Please make sure your bins are securely closed and locked at all times, and keep a close eye on curious noses when out and about.

A little extra care now helps keep everyone safe (and out of the bin buffet!) 🌿
