The Cat Lady (Thanet Cat Sitting Service) is a bespoke pet sitting service. It's the perfect alternative to a cattery or having to rely on a neighbour’s goodwill. We tailor our services to your requirements when we visit, allowing your cat’s routine to remain unchanged whilst you are away. This allows your cat to remain in the comfort of their own home with their own familiar sights and smells and is less stressful for both you and your cats. We are also often cheaper than a cattery too! We offer pet sitting in the local Thanet area. We will visit your home to refresh food and water, clean litter trays and of course give your cat lots of fuss and attention. We also will care for smaller pets too like rabbits, guinea pigs, birds and hamsters, changing water and food bowls and cleaning out cages. We can take care of normal household chores such as watering plants, putting the rubbish out, clearing mail and turning lights on/ shutting curtains. Please contact us to discuss rates and availability. We are also able to help with regular and long term bookings (if you are working abroad regularly or in hospital). Please note special rates apply for Christmas and New Year. We provide friendly, reliable, trustworthy and experienced cat sitting services. We are CRB (DBS) police check and certificated (copy can be shown on request). The Cat Lady is fully insured with Petplan Sanctuary.

Morning Everyone,

Just a quick update.

I'm a bit behind on admin and being swamped with last minute requests for half term. I'm afraid I'm fully booked up to Thursday 29th October.

It's busy because of half term and I'm back and forth to the vets with my poorly boy Clyde. He's sadly at risk of heart failure and in & out of the vets almost daily. My main priority has to be the kitties currently booked in and Clyde.

Just an update for November.

- I'm off Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th November.

- Working morning's only on - Thursday 12th November & Friday 20th November

- I'm off from - Saturday 21st November to Sunday 6th December

- I will then be working up to & including Christmas & New Year

- I know people are waiting for 2027 bookings. I have time off at the end of November so will be working on next year's rota and confirming Christmas 🎄 bookings then

Best Wishes, as always,
Lucy 🐾

* DAYS OFF UPDATE *

Just a little update- I have nobody booked in at the end of November so I've decided to extend my days off. It's been very stressful with my poorly cats & I really could do with spending some time with them.

My days off are now extended to - Saturday 21st November to Sunday 6th December.

Apologies if this affects anyone's plans.

Best Wishes, as always,
Lucy 🐾

Morning Everyone,

I am back to work from tomorrow!

Thank you very much for bearing with me whilst I've had a little break.

I'm sorting out keys and doing admin today and then properly back into cat sits from tomorrow morning 🐈‍⬛

Please allow me a little time to ease back into it. I've confirmed all bookings up to Thursday 5th November.

Looking forward to seeing your furry ones again shortly.

Best Wishes, as always,
Lucy 🐾

Morning,

Just a reminder that I am now on my break from today. I'm back to work on Monday 28th September.

I attach my days off for the rest of this year.

My rota currently goes up to New Year. I usually confirm days off for the following year (2027) in November time but can make a note of requests at the back of my diary- and confirm as soon as I know.

Have a wonderful weekend and looking forward to taking care of your kitties again soon 🐈‍⬛

Best Wishes, as always,
Lucy 🐾

The traffic is not good in Thanet today. Definitely getting nowhere fast.
Apologies if I'm later than usual- road closures and accidents = sitting in the car! 🚗🚗🚗🚗

Evening Everyone,

Just a little update!

There are now 9 more fully booked days to go- before normality resumes! Thank you to everyone for your patience. I know some times my messages are delayed and admin taking longer than usual. I am working hard - the cat sits have to be top priority.... I also still have 12 of my own kitties so all the kitties come first... and then sometimes sleep comes before admin! Sorry! At this moment, I've currently responded to all messages so hopefully everyone is happy! ❤️

Have a lovely evening 🐈‍⬛

Best Wishes Lucy 🐾
