🐾 NAIL TRIMMING IS NO JOKE! 🐾

It’s easy to forget about those claws, but keeping your dog’s nails trimmed is an important part of their comfort and overall paw health. 🐶

Long nails can become uncomfortable, affect the way your dog walks and, over time, put unnecessary strain on their joints.

✂️ Did you know we offer stand-alone nail trims too?

So if your dog doesn’t need a full groom just yet but their nails are getting a little too long, you can pop in for a quick nail trim in between grooms. 🐾

A little trim can make a big difference! ❤️

What does your groomer notice ? 👀

Here we have a typical example of things groomers pick up on, inform clients then the client can take things further with the vets.

In this case we had
- Toe with a new growth
- Infected armpit
- Broken dew claw

The owners moved quickly sought veterinary treatment,
- The toe needs size monitoring for potential further vet investigations
- The armpit needed antibiotics.
- The dew claw needed removing and was damaged.

I’m always saying your groomer is more than just a haircut, this is proof, regular appointments ensure not only do you get a well groomed pet we notice things that you may miss.

Things I absolutely don’t mind as your dog groomer! ✂️ 🐶

- dirty dogs - that’s quite literally my job everyone’s getting a bath anyway 🛁

- matted dogs - it’s all part and parcel of it! Life’s hard, no judgement here I’ll advise you and let’s move on to ensure it doesn’t happen again. ✂️

- cheeky puppies - puppies are just babies, just figuring out the world around them. Not to mention they’re adorable. Don’t sweat it I’ll have seen it all before 🌎

- style changes - don’t like something ? Speak up, I’m not offended I want to get it right for you. I want you to be happy every time you see your dog! Even quirks Mohawk I’ll try it, got something fun in mind ask me!! 🎨

Older dogs - dogs age, who knew. I’ll adapt where I can and advise best I can to keep these golden oldies happy 👵🏻

PERSONAL UPDATE

As many of you know my love for animals extends beyond the dog pod and I have other pets,

Unfortunately my horse sustained a severe injury a couple of weeks ago and has been in the vets for just under a week undergoing surgery and vet care.

I collected her yesterday, which is great news however her treatment will be ongoing for sometime which means until she is signed off I may need to slightly alter appointment times to fit everything in.

This also explains my lack of organisation in regards to lack of spa offers (Halloween) and reduction in presence on social media.

Niamh has been an absolute superstar I can’t thank her enough for not only her professional support but personal support 💕

Anyway, we’re here, we’re working hard and we’re always welcoming to you and your pups!
