☀️Remember this weather can be a killer for our dogs !
Here is some Advice to follow if your dog overheats.

Timing is crucial and getting your dog cooled down is first priority, a dog can overheat on the way to veterinary treatment, so it is advised you first try to cool the dog at home by using cold water 🚿
1. Cool the dog down at home before transport
-Younger dogs can be submerged
-Older dogs use a hose or pour cool water over them
2. Vetinary treatment
DO NOT COVER THE DOG IN A WET TOWEL! This causes heat to be trapped under the towel

It’s spring which means it’s grass seed & tick season! Remember to check your pooches after walks through long grass. Desensitising your dog to having their feet & body checked all over is a great way to prevent grass seeds, ticks and other health issues becoming a problem.
