I think another dog walker posted something recently about the cracks that have opened up in surrounding fields because of the dry weather. These cracks are sometimes hidden. Can I please ask all dog walkers to be vigilant?

One of the dogs that I walk regularly, had an accident yesterday, because of one of these cracks. He severely broke one of his legs and has narrowly avoided amputation. He’s had several hours of surgery today, and has several months of recovery at the very least!

We need rain, a lot of it, and soon please? In the meantime, please everyone keep an eye on your pooches when they are out enjoying life 🐾🐾
