SCRUB A DUB PUPS

22/10/2026

Two special girls visited the salon this week — Willow & Luna! 🐾💕
These superstar girls are so well looked after, and their owners go above and beyond with their care to keep their beautiful coats tangle-free. ❤️ They love to keep them long and fluffy, and it really shows how much time, love and dedication goes into maintaining their gorgeous coats! 🥰
Both girls have the loveliest natures and were absolute stars for their grooms, leaving the salon looking extra fluffy and fabulous! ☁️✨
Well done, Willow & Luna! 💜🐾

🐾🎄 A little Christmas magic for dogs who need it most! 🎄🐾

Meet Max! 💜

Max came to Scrubadubpups this week for a little bath and freshen-up. He’s currently enjoying a short-term foster home with one of my lovely clients, Ruth, who is also mum to Blondie, another rescue dog. 🐶

Max is a rescue dog from Turkey and is waiting to join his forever family. Sadly, he has an ongoing ear infection that hasn’t healed properly, and he’s now waiting for an operation to have his ear removed. 💔

The cost of bringing these dogs from Turkey to their loving forever homes isn’t cheap, and there’s a wonderful charity working hard to make it all possible. Hearing about the amazing people helping these dogs has inspired me to do my bit, too! ❤️

So, Scrubadubpups is holding a Christmas Advent Calendar Raffle! 🎁🐾

All profits will go towards supporting the dog shelter and helping dogs just like Max get the care and second chance they deserve.

🎄 Here’s how to enter:

🐾 Gorgeous Molly’s First Puppy Groom! 💕
Molly was such a little star! 🌟
She was a little apprehensive at first, which is perfectly normal, but with lots of reassurance and taking our time, she did brilliantly!

🎄🐾 Good morning everyone! 🐾🎄

Sorry to mention the ‘C’ word in October, but I’m already starting to get bookings for Christmas! 🎅🎄

If you want your pups looking and smelling gorgeous for the festive season, please book ahead to avoid disappointment. ✨🐶

I’ll be working right up until Christmas Eve and will also be grooming between Christmas and New Year, so there are appointments available around the festive period. 🎁🐾

Thank you, as always, for your continued support. ❤️
🎄Let’s get those pups Christmas-ready! 🎄

💜🐾Welfare always comes before the perfect groom.

Beautiful grooms are lovely, but a dog's welfare, comfort and emotional wellbeing will always come first. 💜

Meet Mavis 🐶💗
Mavis is a very nervous girl when it comes to grooming, so I've been working closely with her owner to help her feel safe, secure and build trust at her own pace.

Her owner chooses to stay with her during her grooming sessions, which helps Mavis feel more settled and reassured. Every little step forward is a big achievement, and today was a lovely example of that. 🥰

Mavis really needed a good tidy-up, especially around her paws and paw pads, and today I was able to clip her and help her feel more comfortable. ✂️🐾

But my favourite part? 🥹💕 Mavis spent most of her time in the salon wagging her tail! Seeing her feel more relaxed and happy is worth so much more than achieving a perfect groom.

It's not about rushing, forcing or expecting every dog to tolerate everything. It's about patience, understanding, working together with owners and celebrating the little wins. ❤️

A happy, comfortable dog will always be more important than a perfect finish. 🐾💗
