This month’s Dog of the Month is Clover!🍀

Although she only joined us a couple of months ago, she has already settled beautifully into her groups. She is usually calm and relaxed, but every now and then she gets the zoomies and somehow manages to get the whole group joining in! Clover is a fantastic addition: super friendly, great on the lead, and with excellent recall. What more could you ask for? Well done Clo 🏆✨

✨A morning training walk with Hugo through the Eden centre. As it was still early, it was pretty quiet which made it much more enjoyable and less overwhelming for him. We practiced settling in different areas of town and he absolutely smashed it! So unbothered to the point he was watching the birds in the sky instead of anything else going on🤣🤣

Also used our reactive vest and ‘do not pet’ lead to advocate for space for Hugo, as sometimes unknown people and dogs approaching can make him uncomfortable!⚠️

🐾✨ Dog of the Month: Arlo ✨🐾

This month’s superstar is Arlo 💙
Where do I even start? He is such a well behaved boy, always off lead with brilliant recall, and I never have to worry about him when we’re out and about. He’s amazing with all my other dogs and just fits in perfectly with everyone.

I get to spend every single day with him, which honestly is the best part. He’s always launching himself into the van, absolutely raring to go for the next adventure. His enthusiasm is unmatched, and he never fails to make me laugh on our walks, especially when I’m trying to take a photo as he simply cannot be normal and always pulls an awkward smile for the camera (as shown above)🤣🤣

Howeverrr, 9 times out of 10, Arlo will somehow sniff out fox poo like it’s his life’s mission 🤣 But we love him anyway, even when he thinks he’s found the ultimate treasure!

He’s such a joy to have around and truly deserves his moment in the spotlight. Well done Arlo!💕🐶

Dog of the Month goes to Hugo ✨ (he was meant to be December’s… but I may or may not have forgotten 🤭 oops)

In December, Hugo came to Wales with me and honestly blew me away. From enjoying some real freedom on an empty beach, basically off-lead and able to explore, to walking beautifully and calmly on the lead through a small town full of dogs and even popping into a few shops, he did amazing. While this might sound pretty normal for some dogs, it was a huge milestone for Hugo, and I couldn’t be prouder of him.

This wasn’t the only huge improvement. A friend and her dog also joined me in Wales. Having done some controlled parallel walks with Hugo and Lottie before the planned trip, it meant Hugo felt comfortable welcoming another dog into his life and being more than happy to be in the same house as it, which is really really lovely to see!

He’s also been doing super well since being back home, improving loads on the lead and coping so much better around other dogs (squirrels though… still public enemy number one 🤣). Overall, a massive good boy and I’m so, so happy with how far he’s coming along with his reactivity 💛🐾🏅
