💚 I am available 💚

Meet Bandit, who is a handsome 4 year-old Domestic Shorthair.

Hi, I am Bandit. I came to the RSPCA after my owners sadly passed away.
When I arrived at the cattery, I was a little bit nervous of my new surroundings. However, every day I gained more confidence and started showing my personality. I loved snuggling up in my hidey bed but also loved to greet the staff at my pod door to say hello and get some scratches or treats. I am a very friendly boy and love receiving lots of fuss.

I am currently in foster and I have settled in really well. =) I am not keen on being picked up and will wiggle my way out although I do enjoy being brushed with a soft bristle brush!

I will greet new people slowly but once I have given you a few sniffs I will bump my head into your hand and happily be petted. I have shown a little bit of interest in toys specifically mouse toys however as I gain more confidence I believe my playful side will come out more! As you can see from my pictures, I love a Lick-e-Lix!!!

I can use a cat flap and I am fully litter trained. I would love to live in a quiet home with children 16+ where I am the only pet since I prefer to distance myself from other cats here at the cattery and have never lived with a dog. I would really love to settle into my forever home soon.

😍Adoption Update😍

We absolutely love hearing how our animals are doing once they find their forever homes, especially if those updates come with adorable photos!

Here we have Zebedee (Now called Linc) who was adopted one month ago. His owner says he is a very special cat, who has doubled in size since coming home! He loves spending time with his people, getting cosy on the sofa for the sports. He especially loves David Attenborough and will watch whole episodes! When he's not watching TV he is practising his escapology!

Zeb and his two siblings had a rough start and were soo poorly, so to see all 3 of them in their new homes now and looking so magnificent is wonderful 💚

🐾Spaniel Update🐾

We are sure you’ll all have seen the update last week - that those responsible for the 84 dogs living in squalor in Doncaster last year have now been found guilty of their neglect.

Here at Preston we were honoured to care for four of these spaniels – Phoenix, Clover, Captain and Major. After lots of rehabilitation, love and TLC, we eventually found them all new, loving homes where they are all now thriving. Take a look! 😍

Beautiful Skye came to us 6 months ago in a bad way, in desperate need of some TLC. She left our cattery to live in a home with one of our amazing foster pawrents 🐾
They have said she loves brown paper and carrying toy mice around in her mouth 🐁
She's been in foster for 4 months and up for adoption for a whopping 5 months with no takers! We suspect as she's a black cat she's being overlooked when we put new cats up for adoption who are ginger, tabby etc.
We urge you not to sleep on this gorgeous little lady, because she will make a brilliant pet for the right person.
