It was such a pleasure to give these three amazing creatures their first health check.

10 years have flown by since Andrew did their dad’s health check and vaccinations when he was born at the zoo 🦁

We loved meeting these two scrumptious babies, when they came in for their health checks 🖤🤍

They are currently in the care of CLAWS cat rescue. We had to make sure they were both in the carrier on the way out and not hiding in anybody’s pockets 🤭

We had a visit from Ronnie, the Spiny-tailed monitor lizard 🦎🤎

Did you know?
🦎 Spiny-tailed monitor lizards are well adapted to hot conditions and are found across Northern Australia
🦎 They are small to medium in size with a body shape that resembles a miniature Komodo dragon
🦎 They eat a variety of insects, spiders, small lizards and mammals.
🦎 They are diurnal meaning they are most active during the day
🦎 They can defend themselves if needed by thrashing around their spiny tails
