The Four Muscheteers have arrived! 🐾🐾🐾🐾💉

Four tiny personalities, four very serious little faces… and one important mission today: vaccines and microchipping! 🥹❤️

Ready, brave and officially starting their journey into the big wide world. 🐶✨

Two tiny siblings, safe, together, and ready to begin their journey through life. 🐶🐶❤️

Their lovely mum, a beautiful Beagle, was struggling to give birth naturally. Despite every effort to help her give birth naturally, including an oxytocin injection, it became clear that a C-section was the safest option.

An emergency C-section was performed, and thankfully, everything went beautifully. Moments later, these two precious little lives were safely welcomed into the world. 🥹🐾

We’re so grateful to their family for placing their trust in us during such an important and emotional moment.

It’s finally Friday! 😹🎉

Meet Winnie, one of our patients who apparently decided that being a client simply wasn’t enough… so he’s officially applied for the role of Head Receptionist. 😂

So far, Winnie has taken over the front desk, inspected the paperwork, supervised the treat supply and judged everyone’s productivity from a very senior position.

His qualifications are impressive:
✔️ Excellent people-watching skills
✔️ Strong desk presence
✔️ Highly experienced in treat quality control
✔️ Management-level attitude 😄

Oh, the eyes… the attitude… the tiny face that says “I was told there would be treats, not vaccines.” 😂🐶💉

This gorgeous little one came in for their vaccinations and made sure we knew exactly how they felt about the whole situation. Safe to say, we were completely won over. ❤️

Keeping those puppy vaccinations up to date helps give them the best start and protects them as they begin exploring the world.

An 8 year old female Mastiff was presented to us with a markedly enlarged v***a and a large vaginal mass visibly protruding externally.

On examination, the mass was substantial and required careful surgical planning. A urinary catheter was placed to clearly identify and protect the urethra during the procedure.

The patient was prepared for surgery, with a ventro-dorsal episiotomy performed to provide safe access to the mass. The mass was subsequently removed and weighed approximately 1.5 kg.

Given the size and location of the lesion, particular care was taken throughout the procedure to preserve the urinary tract and surrounding tissues.

A challenging case, but an excellent example of careful surgical planning, teamwork and intra-operative anatomical protection.

Spay day for this gorgeous girl 🐾🖤

Piper came in today for her routine spay and was more than happy to enjoy some extra cuddles from Danni, our lovely student nurse, during her stay with us. 🥹

Such a sweet, brave patient, wishing her a smooth recovery and plenty of extra treats and cuddles at home! 💕
