🤍 A Peaceful Goodbye, at Home 🤍

We understand that saying goodbye to a beloved pet is one of the hardest moments any family can face.

That’s why Preston Vets now offers home euthanasia, allowing your pet to spend their final moments in the comfort of their own home, somewhere familiar, peaceful and surrounded by the people they love most.

No stressful journey.
No unfamiliar surroundings.
Just comfort and compassion when it matters most. 🐾

Our veterinary team will be there to support you gently through every step and give you the time and privacy you need to say goodbye.

📞 To discuss our home euthanasia service or arrange a visit, please call Preston Vets on 01772 915 409.

Is your dog limping, stiff or not moving like they normally do? 🐾

Signs such as:

• Limping or favouring one leg
• Stiffness after resting
• Difficulty getting up
• Reluctance to jump, run or use the stairs
• Slowing down on walks
• Pain or sensitivity when moving
• Sudden changes in mobility

could be signs of an orthopaedic problem that needs assessing.

At Preston Vets, our highly experienced orthopaedic and soft tissue veterinary surgeon, Dr Carlos Pascual, is with us every Monday and Thursday.

If you’re concerned about your pet’s movement or mobility, give us a call and book an orthopaedic consultation.

From the beginning of October, there will be some adjustments to our prices.

As an independent veterinary practice, we work incredibly hard to keep our prices as fair and affordable as possible. Behind every consultation, procedure and patient we care for, there are many costs that may not always be visible, such as our wonderful team, medicines, laboratory services, equipment, utilities, clinical supplies and the everyday costs involved in keeping the practice running.

Many of our suppliers have increased their prices significantly, and like so many small independent businesses, we are feeling the impact of the rising costs around us.

We have tried to absorb as much of these increases as possible, but in order for us to continue providing the standard of veterinary care that we believe your pets deserve, we now need to make some adjustments to our fees.

Please know that we will continue doing everything we can to keep our prices as reasonable as possible, while never compromising on the care, time and attention we give to your pets.

Being independent means that every person who walks through our doors genuinely matters to us. Your support allows us to look after our team, invest in our practice and, most importantly, continue being here for you and your animals when you need us.

From all of us at Preston Vets, thank you for your understanding, your loyalty and for continuing to place your trust in us. It truly means more to our small team than you may realise. ❤️

Thank you for being by our side and supporting your local independent veterinary practice.

You may be wondering, what is this?

This is a serious condition called PYOMETRA, an infection of the uterus that can affect unspayed female dogs and cats.

Pyometra can progress very quickly and may become life threatening if left untreated.

At Preston Vets, we can perform an ultrasound examination to assess the uterus if there are concerns, helping us investigate changes as early as possible.

For more information, or if you have any concerns about your pet, please don’t hesitate to contact our team.
