What a week it’s been! 🤩 From busy therapy schedules to seeing horses make fantastic progress, it’s been full steam ahead!

🐴 INJURY PROGRESS | SEA SALT & OXYGEN THERAPY 🌊💚

What a difference in this wound after 3 weeks of daily sessions in our Sea Salt & Oxygen Stable!

With a significant open wound on the lower limb, consistent wound management was essential throughout the healing process.

🌊 How can Sea Salt & Oxygen Therapy help?

💨 Oxygen-enriched environment – Oxygen is essential for normal tissue repair and plays an important role in the body’s natural healing processes.

🌊 Sea salt microclimate – Helps create a controlled environment for wound management and support the skin’s natural healing process.

🩹 Consistency is key – Daily sessions provided a regular part of this horse’s wound-care routine throughout the three weeks.

🌙 Overnight bandaging – The horse was also bandaged at night as part of its ongoing wound management.

The combination of consistent care, daily sessions and appropriate wound management supported this horse throughout its recovery journey ❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹

Following stifle surgery to remove 11 bone chips from the right hind and 1 from the left hind, Electric and her owner have been working hard on her rehabilitation journey! 💪🏼

Comparing photos over the past 6 weeks, we’re seeing encouraging changes in topline development, muscle definition and overall shape 🤩

Rehabilitation takes time, consistency and patience but these small changes can make a big difference! 🐴🤎
