New intercom system which keeps grooming and daycare separate 💙

Thank you for bearing with us through this transition of changing over our security/doorbells. We’ve had a few teething problems along the way, and poor Liam and his friend are doing all of this at night after his normal job, so we aren’t getting it done as quickly as we’d love to! We’re nearly there though, and the new security system is almost complete. We just have a screen to go up in daycare, which will alert us on screen when someone rings the bell.

As you may have noticed, we now have two separate doorbells - one marked DAYCARE and one marked GROOMING.

The DAYCARE bell is for anyone coming to daycare, and the GROOMING bell rings directly through to the groom room for grooming appointments.

We unfortunately can’t have any kind of audible chime inside daycare, as the dogs are far too clever! 😂 They very quickly catch on to sounds and eventually associate the bell with someone arriving, which gets them all very excited and high-strung. Trust me, we’ve tried every possible way around this, but they’re just too smart!😂

So please just make sure you’re using the doorbell for the area you’re visiting, and we’ll be able to see the notification on the screen and get to you as quickly as possible.

We’re so excited that Hannah will be returning in October to join me and Lauren in the groom room! 🐾

She’ll be starting with just one day a week to begin with, every Thursday.

If your dog has been groomed by Hannah in the past, we’d really appreciate it if you could leave her a review. It would help her out massively as she returns, and we’d be so grateful for your support. ❤️

My little girl, River, had her very first big girl groom and she was an absolute superstar! 🩷✨

All of those puppy grooming sessions have really paid off she stood so well and took everything in her stride. We also started her hand-stripping journey to help maintain a healthy coat and encourage strong, natural hair growth.

I’m so proud of how well she did. My clever girl! 🥹🐾💕

Bath, deshed, and wrinkle clean for Ziggy the pug! 🐶🛁 You wouldn’t believe how much was hiding in those wrinkles! 😅 A good wrinkle clean makes such a difference, and I’m sure he’s feeling much more comfortable now. 💙✨

Today I had Hunter and Keira in for their grooms. Hunter’s mum and I decided it was time to clip his coat as it was getting a little out of control, and he looks so much better now! Keira had her usual scissor tidy and was an angel as always. 🐾💕

Yesterday we had Stella the German Shepherd and Connie the Cocker Spaniel in for their grooms. Stella had a tidy-up up to neaten her coat and deshed, while Connie’s owner asked for her to be clipped nice and short to help keep her cool during the warmer weather. ☀️🐾

We also had Barney the Cockapoo, in for a bath and brush to keep his coat clean, fresh, and knot-free between his full grooms. 🛁✨

Bailey was a new client and a rescue from Dogs Trust who has been rehomed twice. As we didn’t know much about his grooming history, I prepared myself for anything.

But he completely surprised me, he was the sweetest boy, so calm, and such a pleasure to groom. 💙 Every rescue deserves a chance, and Bailey is proof of that. 🥹🐾
