🌟🐾 Star of the Week – Skye! 🐾🌟

Meet brave girl Skye! 💕

Skye is a regular at the clinic attending for Librela injections and for weight loss clinics with our Registered Veterinary Nurses.

Skye recently underwent surgery at our Prestatyn branch to have some lumps removed, and she’s now recovering really well! 🩷

We hope you’re feeling much better now, Skye! You’ve been so brave! 🥰🐶✨

This is Dolly, a 15 and a half year old pug, who recently had a dental procedure with vet Lottie 🩺

Dolly’s care included blood tests and dental x-rays, helping us assess her individual needs and plan her treatment with her wellbeing in mind ❤️‍🩹

Senior pets can still benefit from dental treatment when carefully assessed and appropriately supported. Age alone doesn’t have to be a barrier to helping our older companions stay comfortable and enjoy a good quality of life 🐶✨

🐾 Advanced veterinary care, right here in Rhyl and Prestatyn! 🐾

When it comes to your pet’s health, you want experienced vets, advanced facilities and the very best care close to home. ❤️

Meet Mitzi, a little fighter with a big story. Our experienced veterinary team at Rhyl AllPets Vets recently performed major surgery to remove an internal tumour that accounted for a remarkable proportion of her tiny body weight.

Mitzi weighed just 2.3Kg (that’s about half the size of an average cat) before surgery and 1.9kg afterwards — meaning the difference of 400g represented around 17% of her pre-operative body weight! Just imagine carrying that extra weight in such a tiny body. 🐶🐱

Mitzi’s story highlights the importance of having access to experienced veterinary professionals, advanced surgical facilities and diagnostic equipment when your pet needs specialist care.

You don’t always need to travel miles to access excellent veterinary care. If you’re worried about your dog or cat, our teams in Rhyl and Prestatyn are here to help, with modern diagnostic facilities, advanced surgical capabilities and a caring team dedicated to your pet’s wellbeing.

📍 Local expertise. Advanced facilities. Compassionate care.

📞 Get in touch with AllPets Vets in Rhyl or Prestatyn to discuss your pet’s needs.

Because even the smallest patients deserve the biggest care. ❤️🐾

Yesterday was International Rabbit Day 🐰

We had the pleasure of meeting the beautiful Buttons Blue and Lila Twirl! Both girls came in with their new owners for a general health check and vaccinations with our vet Eliza!

Eliza chatted with their owners about appropriate handling, husbandry and diet- all of which are so important for keeping our bunnies happy healthy and thriving!

Well done little ones 🐾🥰

🐾 STAR OF THE WEEK – DEXTER! 🐾🌟

A huge well done to little Dexter, who is this week’s Star of the Week! ⭐️

Dexter originally came in for his 6-month health check with our Registered Veterinary Nurse, Georgina, who recommended an annual dental scale and polish. 🦷✨

As part of his Freedom Plus+ Health Care Plan, Dexter’s annual scale and polish was included in his monthly plan! 💙

Under a general anaesthetic, a full dental assessment can be carried out, allowing our team to thoroughly examine, chart and clean the teeth. Luckily for Dexter, he didn’t need any extractions, just a lovely clean and some dental hygiene advice to take home! 🪥🐶

And, of course, he went home with a very waggy tail!

🌟🐾 STAR OF THE WEEK — BISCUITS! 🐾🌟

Everyone say hello to adorable little Biscuits!

Biscuits came in to see our Registered Veterinary Nurse Rhi for his second vaccination and microchip. He was such a brave little boy! 💉❤️

We always recommend keeping your feline friends fully vaccinated to help protect them against serious infectious diseases, and microchipping your cat is an important part of responsible pet ownership. A microchip can help reunite you with your cat if they ever go missing and provides a permanent way of identifying them and linking them to their keeper.

Well done, Biscuits you were SO brave!
We think you definitely deserve your Star of the Week title! ⭐🐾
