As Coopers Crew approaches its 4 year birthday this September, I've completed my third dog first aid course 🚨 Although being dog first aid trained isn't a legal requirement for my job (it should be), I believe ongoing training is an important part of my role and keeping my knowledge up to date is something I take seriously, because every dog deserves the best care possible 🧡

Hopefully I'll never need to use these skills, but it's reassuring to know I'm prepared should an emergency arise 🐶

Thankfully, the temperature has finally dropped and normal walkies have resumed 🐾☁️ We've loved getting back out for proper adventures today after a week of cancelled walks and early, shorter walks to keep the crew cool and safe 😎

Also, totally unrelated to the heatwave but how handsome is this gorgeous boy? I don't think we've had a walk yet where we've not been stopped and told how handsome he is 🧡

Last week had us fooled ☀️🐾

Blue skies, warm sunshine and very happy pups (and human) living their best lives, we really thought spring had arrived 😅

Fast forward to today; grey skies, blustery wind and back to cold and rain 🌧️

Today’s walks also included a little birthday celebration for one of my OG walking buddies, Trevor 🎉 Nearly 4 years of adventures together along with his sister Twix and still going strong 🧡

Grateful for all the dogs (and owners) who trust me to be part of their routine each week. Here’s to more muddy paws, wagging tails and happy Friday walks 🐶🐾🧡
