Our Vet Frances took a few hours out of the practice last week to visit Everton Heath Primary school.
The children had a great time trying on aprons and face masks and looking at X-rays.
It was very much a hands on experience for them and they had lots of fun and Frances’ had a great time answering lots of questions 🥰🥰

It’s been a lovely afternoon!!
Two kittens!! Saffy and Poppy who were adorable!! They had great fun looking around the reception desk!!

So today’s marks an end of an era.
Steph our wonderful receptionist is retiring!!
But don’t worry, Steph’s replacement is ready for action!!! Buster the dog will be happy to greet you!!!!!

New EU rules for Pet Travel for GB residents.

From Wednesday 22nd April 2026 new EU rules have come into effect covering how GB residents can travel to the EU.

GB residents should no longer use EU pet passports to travel to the EU.

EU pet passports may now only be issued to people whose main home is in the EU and should not be used by people who have holiday homes in the EU.

Individual member states may have specific pet travel requirements and pet owners should always check before travel.

Animal Health Certificates (AHC’s) now last longer once you arrive, but they are still single use.

If someone else travels with your pet, extra paperwork is needed. If the owner is not travelling with the pet, the pet must travel within five days of the owner and the person accompanying the animal must carry written permission from the owner. This permission must travel with the pets travel document.

There is a new five pet limit per private vehicle.
