Francine is dreaming of a safe forever home where she can finally learn not to be afraid.💭🏡

She lived a tough life as a stray, bravely raising a litter of kittens and surviving a severe injury that resulted in her tail being amputated. Her kittens were all adopted, but Francine is left waiting for her turn.

While she is still fearful and doesn't want to be touched, she feels relaxed enough to fall fast asleep whenever volunteers sit quietly with her. She just needs a patient family to love her exactly as she is, allowing her to dictate how much or how little interaction she wants.

🌟 MEET OUR RSPCA SOUTHRIDGE STAR OF THE WEEK: BLUEY! 🌟

Bluey is a wonderful Lurcher who is searching for his forever home. His favourite thing in the world is playing fetch with his tennis ball, and once you throw it for him, you’ll have a friend for life! 🎾

Bluey loves spending time with our staff and volunteers, he’s come on leaps and bounds since arriving with us. While he was initially unsure around other dogs, he now enjoys playing with many of his canine friends here at our centre. 🐾

Bluey is looking for an adult-only home where he can continue to thrive. We think he could potentially live with a friendly female dog, pending successful introductions. 🐶

Francine has been overlooked for over 200 days, but this resilient girl has completely stolen our hearts. 💕

She arrived as a terrified stray with a severe tail injury that required amputation. While she prefers not to be touched and won't be a cuddly lap cat, she still deserves a loving home where she can be cared for safely on her own terms.
