Holly’s only a year old, but she’s already spent 136 days waiting for a forever home. 💔

Holly is an absolute sweetheart and loves nothing more than getting visits from our staff and volunteers here at RSPCA Southridge. She is incredibly friendly, the moment anyone walks into her pen she starts rubbing against them and purrs nonstop.

Arriving at the rescue center at a few months old means she has already spent so much of her life growing up here instead of in a family home. Holly is ready to give her whole heart to a forever family and deserves to be playing with toys in a living room, taking sunny naps on sofa, and to grow up surrounded by love.

August Adoption Update 🏡🐾

What a wonderful month it’s been! We’re so happy to celebrate these amazing animals who have started their next chapter in loving forever homes.

🐶 Dogs rehomed: Sandy & Stevie, and Esme.

🐱 Cats rehomed: Rosalind & Jessica, Francine, Sumo, Lola, Troy, Poppy, Rocky & Storm, and Boo.

A huge thank you to everyone who adopted, shared our posts, and supported RSPCA Southridge throughout August.

It is a heartbreaking reality that black cats are the most overlooked in shelters, often taking the longest to find homes.

When Pearl and Travis first arrived at our shelter, they were both all alone. Pearl was grieving the loss of her partner, and Travis was a lonely stray. But the moment we introduced them, everything changed. They bonded instantly, mended each other's broken hearts, and are now inseparable.

A love story this beautiful deserves a happy ending. It breaks our hearts that they have spent over 2 years waiting at our shelter for someone to choose them.

Fern and Oakley were found abandoned at just 2 weeks old, now they are searching for a family to call their own. 🐱🧡🐱

They were incredibly lucky to find a wonderful foster home where they received all the extra love and care they needed to thrive. But while their siblings have already been adopted, Fern and Oakley are still waiting for their forever home.

Because they grew up around people, they are the ultimate lovebugs. They will run right up to say hello, purr non-stop and even love rolling onto their backs for belly rubs. They are also incredibly playful and are guaranteed to bring so much joy to a home.

It breaks our hearts that a dog as wonderful as Caesar is still waiting for a forever family to call his own. 💔

He has watched so many dogs pack up and head off to their new lives... while he is still sitting here waiting for someone to choose him. He is the sweetest boy with a heart of gold, and he is ready to trade kennel life for a warm bed and a forever home to call his own.
