After a very active outing yesterday, Joop and I changed pace for our final walk (of this live-in) today. We strolled up to the cemetery and then had a long, slow, sniffy on-lead walk there. Joop was very relaxed; he chose our entire route and explored the smells to his heart’s content 🥰. I have thoroughly enjoyed getting to know this beautiful boy. Thanks for being the perfect host, Joop-ster! 😘 x

Joop was even more delighted when he realised today’s walk led to the beach 😊. We timed it perfectly for low tide and he had a fantastic time playing in the sea, zooming across the stretches of sand and splashing in the huge water pools. It is a genuine pleasure to see the joy Joop gets from his walks 💙 x

On Sunday, Joop and I headed to two different locations in The New Forest. We went to the river first so he could have a swim, and then headed up the road to Stockley for the main part of our walk. Joop was immaculately well behaved around the ponies, children, other walkers and many dogs we passed. He really is a joy to be out with 😇🥰 x

Later on Saturday, Joop and I had a little on-lead stroll up to the cemetery. We enjoyed pottering about and Joop explored the sniffs (largely without carrying a stick) while watching the pigeons closely! 😂. Once home we had a very cosy and relaxed rest of the evening 😊 x
