Ouch! 🎣

Bertie the Labrador came to see us after getting a fish hook caught in his bottom lip during a trip to the beach. Thankfully, he was very brave and the hook was safely removed by our veterinary team under sedation, and he’s now recovering well. 💙

Fish hooks can cause painful injuries to pets and may become deeply embedded very quickly. If your pet gets caught by the fishermen.. do not try and pull it out! It can cause more damage, give us a call as soon as possible. 🐟🐡❤️

Today we are introducing you to Casper & Cookie!
Owned by: Caitlin - Receptionist!

Casper (Black&White):
Age: 7 Years!
Favourite food: Caspar will eat absolutely anything (especially chicken!)
Favourite toy: Their shared catnip butterfly toy! 🦋
Favourite activity: Loves to follow his mums round and making friends wherever he goes!
Naughtiest habit: Always on the hunt for food (including kitchen counter raids!)
Fun fact: Caspar is the friendliest boy you'll ever meet (even if he doesn't look it!) 💜

Cookie (Black):
Age: 3 Years!
Favourite food: She is a little picky but loves tinned food and Lick-e-Lix!
Favourite toy: Their shared catnip butterfly toy!
Favourite activity: Cookie always prefers to keep watch from a distance with her big eyes! 👀
Naughtiest habit: Gets the zoomies at the most inconvenient times!
Fun fact: Cookie is always wide-eyed and on high alert!

Casper and Cookie are very important member's of our extended practice family, and keeps Caitlin busy when she isn't helping our lovely clients in the reception area and manning the busy phones!

Today we are introducing you to Toby!

Owned by: Susan - Receptionist!
Age: Estimated around 10 Years (he was rescued from a previous owner passing away 😞)
Favourite food: Isn't overly fussy on food!
Favourite toy: His favourite toy is his duck, but he rarely spends time with toys..🦆
Favourite activity: He loves walking, chilling, snuggling and running around the garden. He adores people and loves them visiting, especially the ones who bring treats!
Naughtiest habit: Deciding to take something from the washing basket and refusing to give it back unless you bribe him with a treat! 👕
Fun fact: His favourite place to chill is on the red leather chair that we call Graham Norton and a fun fact about him is that although a new member of the family, responds to "all gone", "go to Graham" and "where's your duck?".

Toby is a very important member of our extended practice family, and keeps Susan busy when she is not looking after our lovely clients!
