We loved all our young handlers helping their puppy through this very important stage of their life. We had a brilliant staff training day. We get to share ideas, swap experiences, and hear about everyone's research and the best ways to help you as puppy/dog parents.
This time, we covered Puppy training and the puppy's first couple of months at home.
Playing with your dog. How important it is to build a bond and trust.
Scent, where we became the guinea pigs to see if we could identify scents as well as our dogs. Fail!!
For Portchester Saturday's Branch, we presented the 6 levels of our Rally classes in a 35-minute showcase. This is obedience with a difference. Rally classes are just for fun; however, we have some of our dogs competing in the Royal Kennel Club Rally competitions.

If you would like to join Rally classes, your dog will need to be trained to at least Silver level. Contact [email protected]

Altogether, it was a really good day and a great catch-up with everyone in the AMCBT Team.

🥳🤩😍Congratulations to all our Rally members who entered the AMCBT Rally Level 3 Competition on December 13th, 2025. 🥇Special congratulations to Pickle (first photo) and his young owner for coming first. This round was very impressive, with only a few points lost. 🥇You were all amazing, and I am really proud of how you all followed the course without getting lost at exercises 21 and 34. 🥳🤩😍

It is lovely to have so many of you return to start your bronze level training. You are all progressing really well. We love our puppies continuing with us, as we can share their journey with you, from puppy to a young adult, and sometimes through to adulthood. Well done to everyone. 🥳🤩🐾⭐️🥳

It took a while, but it was so worth it to see how happy (there may have been tears) you were to receive your Gold certificate and rosette. Nelson is such a happy dog, and is now a Rally dog in training, and he loves it! It has been, and still is, a pleasure to have you all in class every Saturday. 🏆🥳🤩🥰🩵🏆
