After Casper’s last experience with sheep he wasn’t too keen to cross this field. At least this flock had a healthy respect for the 🐻‍❄️ and walked away as we approached instead of chasing after us. 💙🐾

How are you all coping with the heatwave and the prospect of more to come?
We had to leave casper behind for the first paddle of the year… hopefully we’ll be able to take him out soon.

Lazy weekend anyone?
We had a last minute change of plans for the weekend. Sometimes you just have to roll with the punches and make the most of it. We’ve enjoyed taking things a bit slower this weekend, especially as Casper seems to have done something to his knee again.

Free runner!
It’s hot hot hot 🥵 our early morning walk wasn’t quite as early as I wanted it to be by the end thanks to Sir sniff-a-lot. But he had the best time in the shade, with a breeze and then a dip in the lake at the half—way point. Obviously now he’s done for the day and is snoozing in the cool.

These two have been at it again… on Sunday daisy had to help herd the “sheep” back inside… instead the 🐑 decided it was time for a walk without the humans…
Despite Caspers little adventure we had a good day with the in laws on Sunday. It’s lovely to watch Casper and Daisy’s relationship blossom, Daisy is learning all her doggy communication skills and is finally letting casper sniff her bottom… though maybe that’s just because she’s coming into season. Only time will tell!
