🎆 FIREWORK SEASON IS COMING… PREPARE NOW.

If you KNOW your dog is absolutely petrified of fireworks every year, please don’t wait until the fireworks start before contacting your vet.

For some dogs, training, safe spaces, background noise and management simply aren’t enough. Their fear can be so severe that veterinary-prescribed medication may be appropriate to help them cope.

💊 That decision needs to be made with your vet and NOW is the time to have that conversation.

Don’t leave it until your dog is already shaking, panting, pacing, hiding or desperately trying to escape and then try to find an emergency solution.

Speak to your vet early.
Get your plan in place.
Start your preparation and training NOW.

🎆 You can’t stop people letting off fireworks but you CAN prepare your dog for firework season.

And if your dog needed medication last year, don’t assume you can just wait until the last minute this year. Contact your vet ahead of time. 🐶❤️

Classes are not for behaviour problems.

I’ve seen a huge rise recently in owners wanting to book group classes for dogs who are already struggling with behavioural issues.

Barking and lunging at other dogs.
Growling in close proximity.
Severe anxiety in new environments.
Reactivity on lead.
Resource guarding.
Separation anxiety.
Excessive barking.

And I completely understand wanting help that’s what I’m here for.

But group training classes are not designed to fix behaviour problems.

Classes are structured for:
✔️ Teaching skills
✔️ Building engagement
✔️ Improving obedience
✔️ Proofing behaviours around controlled distractions

They are not set up to safely or effectively work through established behaviour issues.

Putting a reactive or highly anxious dog straight into a busy class environment often makes things worse not better.

It’s overwhelming.
It increases stress.
It rehearses the unwanted behaviour.

Behaviour problems need:
• Individual assessment
• A tailored plan
• Controlled exposure
• Gradual progress

That starts with 1-1 support.

Group classes are brilliant for the right dogs at the right stage.
But they’re not a quick fix for behaviour struggles.

If you’re unsure whether your dog is suitable, message me first I’d much rather guide you properly than put your dog in a situation that sets them back 🐾

⭐️ A huge congratulations going out to Ellen & James with Ozzy… what can I say about gorgeous Ozzy! He stole my heart from the minute I met him! I couldn’t be prouder of this beautiful soul on achieving his Gold level in training!

⭐️ I can honestly say you wouldn’t even know he was in classes… he really is a real life Eyeore 😂

⭐️ Ozzy is a sensitive soul but Ellen & James have given him the best training and this truly shows in Ozzy! This is a huge achievement and watching how far Ozzy has come is amazing. Thank you for letting us be a part of his training!

⭐️ We miss you already but once again a huge congratulations and you’ve been an absolute pleasure to teach 🥇⭐️💙

⭐️ Another huge congratulations to gorgeous Ocho and his wonderful owners Lisa, Jez & Jasmine for all playing a part in passing his Gold level in training!

⭐️ I’m so proud of Ocho’s owners for not giving up at times as adolescence and hormones can be tough in some dogs! But they showed up every week and put everything into practice and it payed off! Ocho is a fantastic boy and his wonderful owners have been an inspiration too others to keep going!

⭐️ We miss them all already and the laughs along the way! You’ve been an absolute pleasure to teach ⭐️🥇💙
