A very rare opportunity… 🐾🇬🇧
As many of you know, Hounds & Veterans has grown into an incredibly busy little business, and thanks to all of your amazing support we’re now pretty much fully booked year-round.
The downside? I haven’t had a proper break in over two years.
I’m looking for one special person that I can trust 100% to help me occasionally, so I can finally take the odd long weekend or short break away.
This isn’t just about covering a couple of days. I’d love to find someone who genuinely wants to become part of the Hounds & Veterans family, get to know my daycare dogs, build relationships with them, and understand how we do things.
I’m looking for someone who:
🐾 Has plenty of experience and confidence with dogs of all breeds, sizes and personalities.
🐾 Holds a full UK driving licence and is happy to drive my vehicle to take the dogs to our secure paddocks.
🐾 Understands that the dogs’ safety and welfare always come first.
🐾 Is reliable, trustworthy and happy to learn how we operate within our licence requirements.
🐾 Loves dogs for all the right reasons.
Initially it would just be the occasional Friday and Monday while I escape for a long weekend, but there may be the odd additional day or weekend boarding cover from time to time.
When covering, you would stay at my cottage to look after my own Doberman, Jack, as well as the daycare or boarding dogs.
This is a paid role, and it will be paid well. However, I’m not looking for someone who’s only interested in the money. I’m looking for someone whose passion is dogs, and who will care for them exactly as I do.
