Gecko Diet

21/08/2026

After a very long wait, we're very pleased to announce that Pangea is finally back in stock - in 2oz, 8oz and 16oz, and in all flavours! 🥳🦎

We’re only able to bring in small shipments at the moment, but we have lots lined up going forward which means we can finally get your geckos their favourite blends again. Thank you so much for your patience while we’ve been working to get Pangea back into the country - it’s been a bit of a journey!

As many of you know, recent UK import regulation changes for animal‑origin products have caused delays to full commercial shipments from the US. Pangea are still completing the final stages of the USDA/APHIS approval process needed for large‑scale export. To keep stock moving in the meantime, we’ve started flying Pangea into the UK, which is much more expensive than our usual boat freight. As a small business we’ve absorbed rising costs for years, but with the current situation we’ve had to make a small price adjustment. Once full approval is complete and we can return to normal boat shipments, we’ll review pricing again to keep everything as fair as possible. The good news is that we have lots of orders lined up meaning your shelves don’t have to stay empty anymore!

And of course, alongside Pangea, we still stock Gecko Nutrition, Black Panther Zoological (BPZ) and Repashy… all with free postage, as always ☺️

Thank you again for sticking with us through the shortages. We’re working closely with Pangea throughout this process and will keep everyone updated as things progress.

Your support genuinely means the world 💚

Some of you eagle-eyed lot have already spotted it... we are now officially a certified distributor of Gecko Nutrition!

For anyone who hasn't come across them before, Gecko Nutrition is a premium German brand that is popular across Europe. It's known for it's natural ingredients and high insect content and a lot of people swear by it, so we're really pleased to stock it here in the UK.

We've just added a range of different flavours to the website, with 50g bags at £10.50 and 250g bags at £25, and as always - free postage! If your geckos fancy trying something new (or you just want to see which flavour they throw across the tank this week 😂), everything is now in stock and ready to go.

I suppose I better add a gecko photo, otherwise it won't feel like a proper announcement. This is Little Miss Sunshine and hopefully her photo will bring a change in the weather for us.

Have a lovely weekend everyone x

PRICE INCREASE
We have kept our prices the same throughout Covid, as so many people were in difficult situations, but unfortunately, we now have to raise our prices. We have not had an increase for years and have tried to keep it to a minimum

Products, shipping, staffing, packaging, in fact everything has gone up.

Royal Mail costs alone have increased by about 21% over the last 2 years.

The increase will begin at the end of this weekend, sorry!

We can see what Celeste thinks of the idea! 😝

Because there are 18 different flavours to choose from we have tried to narrow the choice down by selling sets of 4 x 25g sample flavours. Hope it helps.

I thought i had better add a gecko picture, even one of my lousy shots! Those that know my geckos will be able to tell this is definitely one of Aztecs offspring, this one is Queen of Spades

Enjoy the rest of the wet and windy weekend x

In 2019 I decided, for my mental health, to keep away from negative people. In 2020, for my physical health I've had to keep away from positive people 😷😊 2021, I'm going to practise better social distancing from my fridge 😜😁

Wishing you all a wonderful Christ-mask.

A time to appreciate friends and family, keeping away is keeping them safe, and thinking of those that have lost loved ones.

Health and happiness to you, and every best wish for the new year.

I hope you Dads enjoy your Fathers days. Enjoy your weekends. Maybe see some of you in September?
