Watching the flock eat millet is like asmr, hearing all there little beaks snapping the seeds open, very relaxing and helpful for forgetting everything else going in the world 🙌🏽
This might be one of my favourite times too watch my flock although I feel I say this about a lot of thing but it’s a rare occasion too have most my birds in one area and one video so times when treats are given especially are great too show almost all of my flock

A new bird meet being setup by a good mate of mine from my home town, anybody interested this is all the info you need
the first one won’t be till October the 18th then on the 3rd Sunday of every month
Will be teas coffees and bacon rolls available on the day and fingers crossed for plenty of tables with birds available and lots of buyers there also 🤞🏼🤞🏼

The rescue flock has officially be with me for a week and 2 days now next Wednesday will be there second round of moxidectin then another 2 week wait until I can have a sort through and a proper look at them for who is ready too join the avairy 🤞🏼
The conditions have improved in massive amounts already and the mites on the bottom two cages is almost fully gone visibly anyways and the top cage the difference from day 1 too now is amazing
Cleaning as been forever ongoing with the amount in this cage a deep cleaning having too be done every 3 days but it’s worth it seeing how much better they are doing now
What started as 46 has amazingly stayed up in the high numbers with only 1 loss around 2 days into being with me
Doesn’t feel right about how small the cage they are in is but is it is a necessity too not spread anything into my pre existing flock
Also seems one if them clearly agrees and keeps attacking others luckily no serious injury’s and tend too move the one which has been attacked too a different cage and haven’t had further issues since unsure who the culprit may be but will keep a very close eye and if I catch them will seperate them 🤞🏼

The long waiting game atleast for this pair is over, egg number one arrived last night wasn’t there yesterday around 2pm ish but checked again at around 10pm and an egg was there, now just too hope many more come and that they are fertile
This pair is my only exhibition pair the female is an albino and the male a skyblue dominant pied be exciting too see what these two produce this will be the females first successful clutch and the males 2nd 🤞🏼🤞🏼

The breeding room and all the pairs I currently have down, all have explored there nest other than 2 and hopefully by the end of this week eggs will start appearing but the long waiting game still for these pairs on eggs too be laid 🤞🏼🤞🏼

Everytime I give the flock veggies it gets more enjoyable too watch especially with all the new youngsters outside they all swarm down and everytime with more confidence they hop from bowl too bowl 🙌🏽

Just wanted to say a massive thank you too Charlie's Place UK Budgies who assisted with setting up me taking in the rescue flock and also for the amazing donation which has and will continue too assist in getting these birds back into top condition and health, please everybody go follow and if you could share the page also would be amazing help so they can carry on supporting and assisting rescues and situations for other birds just like these budgies

Start of the video shows what was donated rest of the video is the rescue flock, around 5 days into being with me now and already can see improvements have done 1 round of moxidectin and am now trying veggies with them which seems like it may be a task too get them too take too but with consistency and due time hopefully they will grow too love there veggies 🤞🏼🤞🏼

This pair knows there little routine a little too well, they were so relaxed in the cage upti the bird room. Opened there cage door too let them into this one and they both hopped on in, the female went straight too the nest opening investigating and even went inside the male doing his usually standing watching guard and in the end of the video he starts feeding her. This will be my 4th clutch from this pair, they had 1 clutch there first year of breeding 2 last year and likely just the one this year and both being around 3 years old now is perfect time for atleast the female too go into retirement 🤞🏼

What has been some of an eventful day for me, I won’t go into details as it’s not fair for me too talk on someone else’s situation, but I went and rehomed an flock of birds too assist someone and what was told too be only 20-30 ended up being 46 it’s breaks my heart too see these situation but I’m also so grateful too be part of something which I can help these birds and give them the best life possibly
A few with over grown beaks which have now been trimmed back the top cage sadly all are visibly riddled with mites the other two cages are in much better visable condition but still not perfect, all are now on treatment and diets will be getting a major improvement and can hopefully in time join my flock 🤞🏼🤞🏼
