💔🐾 And just like that… many many wonderful weeks with Mr Blep himself have come to an end! 🥹❤️

Oh, Ernie. I'm going to miss you so much!

Since the 29th August, I've had the absolute pleasure of spending approximately 69 hours with this gorgeous little gentleman, and what a special time it's been! ❤️

What started as twice-daily visits to an independent little outdoor boy blossomed into something truly lovely. From popping in for his meals and heading straight back outside, to following me into the lounge, making biscuits on my lap and falling into the deepest, most contented sleeps. 🥹

His adorable little blep, his love of bum bongos, the occasional mouse-shaped present and finding him curled up in my spot on the sofa… he's certainly kept me smiling! 😂❤️

We had a little interruption this week while I recovered from a hip procedure, and I'm incredibly grateful to his lovely neighbour for stepping in to help. ❤️

This is what makes pet sitting so special to me. It's not just about feeding and caring for animals. It's about earning their trust, understanding their little personalities and building the most wonderful bonds.

And there's something incredibly precious about an independent little soul deciding that your lap is his safe place. ❤️

A huge thank you to his lovely owner for trusting me with her precious boy for so long. It's been an absolute privilege.

So, Mr Blep, it's TTFN, not goodbye! 🥹🐾

Thank you for the cuddles, the laughter and for making my mornings and evenings that little bit brighter.

You've well and truly stolen a piece of my heart, little man. ❤️😭

🐰💕 A Day Full of Bunny Kisses & Feline Shadows! 🐱❤️

What a lovely morning being reunited with three familiar little faces — Georgie, Alice and Sally! 🥰

First up, my gorgeous boy Georgie! 🐰❤️ Oh, how far we've come! This little chap used to hide away from me, but these days I can barely get my face near him without being showered in kisses! Today was no exception, with plenty of snuggles, nose kisses and some very precious moments together. My heart! 🥹💕

Meanwhile, beautiful Alice, our lovely white bunny, was happily pottering about and enjoying her morning. 🐇🤍

And then there's Sally! 🐱💕 My little feline shadow! Wherever I went, there she was, keeping a watchful eye on proceedings. I don't think I could have lost her if I'd tried! 😂

It's days like these that remind me why I absolutely adore what I do. Building relationships with animals, earning their trust and watching their personalities blossom is such a privilege.

From a once-shy bunny who now gives kisses to a cat who won't let me out of her sight — I think I'm doing something right! 🥰🐾❤️❤️❤️

💚 A little Simba appreciation post! 🐾

Meet Simba, otherwise known as Woobag. Our beautiful 16-year-old Ragdoll and quite possibly the chattiest cat on the planet! 😂

Honestly, this boy NEVER stops talking. Whether he's hungry, wants attention, has something to complain about or simply fancies a conversation, he's always got something to say. And heaven forbid you don't answer him! 🤣

But this morning, he was looking particularly sweet, all snuggled up on his fluffy blanket, so I decided to give him a little cuddly toy I'd made myself. 🧶💚

Just look at him with his new little friend! 🥹

He might be getting on in years, but he's still as full of personality, mischief and opinions as ever.

Honestly… worst job ever. 🙄😂

Here I am, trying to provide a professional pet-sitting service, and once again I’ve been completely immobilised by Ernie.

I’ve been forced to lie on a comfy sofa while a warm, fluffy, purring cat sleeps heavily across my lap. I can’t move. I can’t get up. I’m basically being held hostage.
The working conditions are simply appalling. 😤😂

And just look at that paw draped over me! As if to say, “You’re not going anywhere, lady.” 🥹🖤

It’s a tough job… but somebody’s got to do it.

(Please don’t rescue me. I’m perfectly happy here.) 😂🐾

🖤 ERNIE UPDATE! 🖤

It’s been a little while since I posted an Ernie update… oops! 🙈 But rest assured, I’m still being thoroughly pinned to the sofa by this gorgeous boy on a daily basis. 😂

Ernie has always been much more of an outdoorsy gentleman — normally popping in for his breaky and dinner before heading off to attend to his very important cat business.

Apparently, those days are changing! 🥹

Both morning and evening visits now involve Ernie climbing onto my lap on the sofa, settling himself in and then falling into the kind of deep sleep that makes you question whether you’re ever going to be allowed to move again. 💤😂

Even sweeter, I’ve noticed that when I come back in the morning, he’s often been sleeping overnight in the exact spot on the sofa where I sit. 🥺 I think somebody has decided that’s our spot now.

From my outdoor-loving bleppy boy to a fully fledged snuggle bum… I’m certainly not complaining. 🖤
Although my legs might be. 😂🐾

What a busy and absolutely lovely month it's been for Becky Wells Pet Sitting! 🥰

September has been filled with whiskers, fluffy paws, bunny kisses, bleps, zoomies, cuddles, playtime, lots of conversations with very chatty cats… and naturally, plenty of treats! 😂❤️

I've had the pleasure of caring for Ernie, Uno, Milo & Shadow, Paxley, Georgie, Alice & Sally, Kiki & Mia, Popcorn & Zorro, and Maizie this month. 🐱🐰

Some are familiar little faces I've grown incredibly fond of, some I've had the pleasure of returning to again, and some have been wonderful new additions to the Becky Wells Pet Sitting family. ❤️

A huge thank you to every one of my clients for continuing to trust me with your precious fur babies and your homes. I know just how much they mean to you, and I never take that trust for granted.

I've had so many lovely moments this month — from unexpected sofa cuddles and bunny kisses, to kitchen-sink adventures, bleps, hairband fetching, enthusiastic dinner songs and everything in between. 😂🐾

And thank you to everyone who follows along with my updates, leaves lovely comments and supports my little business. I genuinely love sharing these characters and their adventures with you!

🐾 Morning with Zorro & Popcorn 🐾

Well, this morning started with a very thorough inspection of my hands from both Zorro and Popcorn. 😂 Apparently, despite practicing excellent hygiene between every one of my pet visits, there were still some suspicious traces of all the other furry friends I’d already seen this morning!

Sniff sniff sniff…
“Excuse me, Becky… WHO have you been fraternising with?!” 👀😂

Once I’d passed the official sniff test, it was time for the important business of breakfast — poultry on this morning’s menu! 🍗 Both bowls attended to, tummies filled, and then it was straight into a little post-breakfast wash before settling down for some well-earned relaxation.

Naturally, I remained on hand to supervise proceedings. It’s a tough job, sitting around watching two gorgeous cats wash themselves and get comfy… but somebody has to do it. 😂🩷

Back with some very familiar faces… Zorro & Popcorn (aka Peeps)! 🖤🤍

I’m lucky enough to be spending about a week with these two again (and, of course, their lovely axolotl housemates! 🦎), and it genuinely makes me so happy being back with them.

They’ve slipped straight back into their usual routine — plenty of snoozing, following me around the house, cuddles and sniffs from Zorro, and LOTS of hairband pinging and fetching with Popcorn. And then there’s the chasing… which, despite that tiny innocent face, is very often instigated by little Miss Popcorn. 😂 Butter wouldn’t melt.

However, I was given some very important information before this sit… apparently there’s a particular treat that Zorro goes absolutely WILD for.
Naturally, I had to investigate.

Well… I think it’s safe to say Ernie is pleased I’m back. 🥹🖤

We’ve progressed from our little sofa cuddle breakthrough last time to apparently becoming full-on snuggle buddies this evening. He climbed up, made himself comfortable and settled in for one seriously big cuddle. And naturally, the famous Ernie blep had to make an appearance too. 😂👅

That giant fluffy paw stretched across me absolutely finished me. 🥹

There’s something so special about earning a cat’s trust over time, especially when your relationship with them suddenly reaches that “Yep, you’re one of my people now” stage.

I think I’ve officially been claimed. 🖤🐾
And I am more than happy with this arrangement, Ern. 😂🖤

I’m lucky enough to be spending a little while with one of my favourite familiar faces again, and judging by this photo, Ernie had plenty to say about my arrival. 😂

Between the legendary bleps, roly-polies, surprise sofa cuddles, bum bongos and the occasional mouse-shaped gift left especially for me, there’s never a dull moment with this gorgeous boy.

I absolutely love that I’ve become such a familiar part of his little world now. He knows me, I know all his quirks… and I wouldn't have him any other way. 🥹🖤

Right then, Ern… what chaos have you got planned for me this time? 😂🐾
