This year is a very special year as Murphy’s Army celebrates the 10th Anniversary of the Purple Poppy Campaign! 💜🌸

We are incredibly proud to be supporting the campaign once again and helping to remember the animals who have served, supported and stood alongside us. 🐴🐶🐾

Orla was super excited to see Emma this morning and clearly couldn’t contain her enthusiasm! 💕

But before getting down to business, there was something VERY important that needed investigating… 👀

Our gorgeous sibling duo, Rex & Roxy, swim with us every two weeks, and we couldn’t let their special milestone go by without giving them a little birthday shout-out! 🥳🐾💦

In the space of just 10 days, these two have both celebrated their 7th birthdays! 🥰🎈 Talk about keeping the celebrations going! 😂🎉

They are both such lovely characters and we absolutely love seeing them every fortnight for their swim. ❤️

The dogs think we just fill the pool up and let them have a splash. 😂

Behind that ridiculously blue water is a team checking and testing it three times every single day.

Because hydrotherapy isn’t just about what happens in the water — the quality of the water matters too.

We look after the water.
The water looks after the dogs. 💙

And yes… we’re slightly obsessed with how blue it looks. 👀😂

DON’T WAIT FOR THEM TO STOP MOVING. 🐾

Meet Cody.

Cody was adopted after a difficult start and, once back in better condition, his owners knew something still wasn’t quite right with the way he moved.

Further investigation revealed hip dysplasia in his left hip.

But this isn’t a story about waiting for Cody to get worse.

It’s about being proactive.

Building strength.
Managing bodyweight.
Supporting his joints.
Using controlled exercise and rehabilitation.
And giving him the confidence to trust people again.

For Cody, we’ve started with the underwater treadmill controlled movement, progressive strengthening and everything done at his pace.

For me, this is what canine health should be about.

Don’t wait for the limp.
Don’t wait for old age.
Build strong dogs while they’re still moving well.

Rehabilitation. Nutrition. Joint care. Movement.

It all works together.

Three things I talk about all the time when it comes to keeping dogs moving well. 🐾

⚖️ Weight management, less unnecessary load through the joints.

💪 Prehab , build strength, stability and movement before problems arise or ahead of surgery.

🌊 Post-rehab, structured rehabilitation to rebuild strength, restore movement and help get them back to doing what they love.

Don’t just react when they stop moving well. Think about keeping them moving well in the first place.

Movement is medicine. 💙
