Heidi and I did a thing this weekend....we went and competed at Cymru Groom in the Doubles, me grooming the front half of my miniature poodle Kai and Heidi grooming the back half of him.

Guess what happened? We went and placed 3rd in our group!

Still can't quite believe it. The talent at competitions is absolutely amazing so we are both a bit in shock at placing 3rd and being recognised as being among such talent.

We like to continually further our education by attending training and seminars and now competitions too to help us improve and give the best doggie-styles to all our wonderful clients.

Chewie has been by Heidi’s side since the very beginning of her grooming journey back in July 2023. He’s been her dedicated, trusted training dog from day one, and you can truly see her progression reflected in every groom she’s done on him.

Charlie has just completed his Puppy Package with us, and he’s done amazingly well. Over four gentle sessions, we focused on building trust, confidence and a truly fear‑free grooming experience.

His package included:
1 × 30‑minute play & introduction session
2 × bath & brush sessions with desensitisation
1 × full groom once he was fully comfortable

Taking the time to introduce puppies slowly makes a huge difference to their long‑term grooming experience. It helps prevent fear, stress and future behavioural issues — and sets them up for a lifetime of calm, positive grooms.

If you’ve got a puppy, early grooming introduction isn’t optional — it’s essential.
