🐕❤️🎉 HERE SHE COMES 🎉❤️🐕‍🦺

Another precious cargo has boarded the happy 🚌 ready for a journey to a lovely new life in the UK.

Many people work hard to make this happen and this is the end result, 1 lucky little traveller off to meet her new family, new life just beginning, she can finally put her sad past behind her.

The Volunteers at the pound said adios 👋🏻 to Dolce 🥰

Wishing you a safe journey and happy life, we hope our dreams for you will come true! Here she is on the happy bus to go to the TRACES kennel 😍

As always thank you to the Volunteers at SOS CANYA - Perrera de Los Barrios, Cadiz for taking such good care of her and to ProPaws European Transport Services for transporting her safely to her new home.

Sadly many more gorgeous dogs are still in the pound waiting for their new families, can you help them?

As soon as Dulcie is vaccinated and checked by my vet, she will be up for rehoming. Her foster mum took her for an emergency groom on Sunday because she had dreadful mats on her undercarriage and legs all housing vast colonies of fleas. She feels much better now. She will be spayed before she can leave.

At the end of the week the fosterer will post an assessment of Dulcie and her particular needs. She is still shy and can startle easily. So we will be taking things steadily.

The following is a generic list of rehoming criteria for a Kim's Home dog:

Safe garden with secure boundaries and not overlooked from street
An awareness of security issues – doors, gates etc.
An awareness of the dangers of dog theft
Good healthy, varied diet
Live as member of family with access to sofas etc
At least one other gentle dog ideally
Patience while she settles in
Kind, positive, motivational training methods used
Good level of exercise including free running in safe places
No small children
Home not too far from Cardiff for frequent meet-ups prior to rehoming
Some Spaniel experience desirable

The reason that we ask for an adopter to be close to Cardiff is that it means that the dog can meet up several times with the adopter to facilitate the transfer to a new home. This method has worked very well for the last 4 dogs rehomed via Kim's Home and fostered by Susie.

Please pm me for an Adoption Application form if you think you meet the criteria. There will also be a homecheck carried out by me or the foster person. Vet references will also be sought.
