Water crossings! 🌊

We are making the most of the lower river and stream levels at the moment and doing lots of water crossings !

Water effects the way that scent moves, and building our dogs confidence (as well as ability to focus despite the water for our water loving dogs
) is a great challenge!

Trailing on sand!

We worked on some water crossings and just the general challenge of trailing on sand, for both Scentwork storage and dispersal, and also the physical aspect for the handler.

Well done Team Rowan, Team Loki, Team Tilly, Team Chewie, Team Bess.

We also welcomed Team Willow on their introduction, who did amazingly!

A later than usual start and a venue change to keep ourselves out of the heat this eve! We actually had quite a pleasant evening in the woods.

We are conscious not to overwork dogs in the humidity, which actually creates some excellent still conditions for scent capturing and all the dogs trailed amazingly!
