Dinika was Junior Vice President of the Welsh branch of the BVA. Folly Veterinary Centre is a non corporate business offering a personal service to our clients.

Folly Veterinary Centre is an independent veterinary practice that offers a range of services including general health checks, 2nd opinions, vaccinations, surgery, x-ray, oral surgery, neutering, micro chipping, flea and worm treatments and much more. Found in the heart of Pontypool on Commercial Street, Torfaen, South Wales, Folly Veterinary Centre is easy to get to by all modes of transport. The

re is also free parking to the rear of the surgery with several free public car parks nearby. We are open 6 days a week and offer an out of hours service. Our friendly, forward-thinking, professional staff are dedicated to the care of your pets and providing the high quality veterinary care. We strive to deliver an excellent service to our clients to ensure your pets live a long and happy life. Our large waiting area is divided in into a cat and dog area to minise stress. We offer a range of services including vaccinations, worming, microchipping, neutering, ultrasonic dentistry, diagnostics including digital xray and surgery. We run a range of clinics including puppy and kitten youth clubs, weight checks, senior pet health checks and diabetes clinics. We offer advice from choosing a suitable pet to behavioural issues. Our nurses offer advice regarding flea and worming protocols, dental hygiene, nutrition and puppy training. We do offer visiting specialist services in many areas from ultrasound, cardiology and opthalmolgy. Please contact us for more information. She share her home with 2 adorable felines "Ted " & "Ida" along with her family.

Meet the Team - Megan

I'm Megan and I am a Registered Veterinary Nurse. I qualified in 2024 from Coleg Gwent's Usk Campus, where I completed my Diploma in Veterinary Nursing through an apprenticeship. I've worked in veterinary practice for the past five years, and I've always been passionate about animal welfare, which inspired me to become a veterinary nurse.

I have a particular interest in patient advocacy, inpatient care, and anaesthesia, and I enjoy making sure every pet receives the highest standard of care while they're with us. I love getting to know both our patients and their owners and do my best to make every visit as stress-free and positive as possible.

Outside of work, I enjoy going to the gym, spending quality time with my family and friends, and travelling whenever I get the chance.

Meet the Team - Dinika BVSc GP Cert SAM PgC MRCVS

Dinika started her varied career in Mixed practice and then specialised in to small animal veterinary care. After completing her certification in Small animal medicine she set up Folly veterinary Centre in 2015.

Special Interest: offering the best possible service to our community through building long lasting relationships with our clients and provide advice when they need it most particularly with our more senior patients. She also enjoy medical cases and providing holistic services such as animal reiki.

Outside of work she love being outdoors, from walking in the hills with her family and their wonderful dog Roxy to wild swimming and climbing.
