Meet Vinnie the Vizsla puppy! 🐶✨
​He recently visited us for his second puppy vaccination and a full health check with our vet. Vinnie was super brave, passed his health check with flying colours, and is officially ready to take on the big outside world! 🌍🐾
​Vinnie also signed up for our River Health Plan so his mum and dad have all his preventative healthcare sorted, keeping him happy and thriving as he grows.
​Did you know? Puppies on our River Health Plan can pop in for monthly weight checks with our nursing team so we can closely monitor their growth! 📈🐕

☀️As temperatures rise, the team at River Veterinary Care want to make sure all our furry friends stay safe, comfortable, and hydrated! 🐾🌡️
​Here are a few quick tips to protect your pets during warm weather:
• ​🐶 Time Walks Wisely: Avoid walking dogs during the hottest parts of the day. Early mornings and late evenings are much safer.
• ​🐾 Check the Pavements: Before heading out, place your palm on the pavement. If it’s too hot for your hand, it’s too hot for their paws!
• ​🚗 Never Leave Pets in Cars: Even for a few minutes, parked cars can heat up to dangerous temperatures rapidly.
• ​💧 Keep Water Flowing: Ensure fresh, cool water is always available and encourage regular drinking.
