🐾 Lovely Molly!🐾

I had the pleasure of working with Molly today, a gorgeous 4-year-old German Shepherd. 💚

We spent our session building confidence, strengthening communication between Molly and her owner, and working on some really useful skills to help make walks and everyday life easier.

Molly was such a lovely girl to work with, and I’m looking forward to seeing how she gets on as her family put everything we’ve practised into place. 🥰🐾

Well done Molly! 💚

🐾 Mario’s first session!🐾

Today I started working with gorgeous Mario the Retriever and his guardian Shaun, and we kicked things off with one of the most important skills — recall!🐶💙

We started inside the home, keeping things nice and simple so Mario could really understand what we wanted from him. We’re teaching him that the whistle means “come back to me”and, most importantly, that coming back is always a great thing!

There’s no point jumping straight into a busy field and expecting a reliable recall. We build it step-by-step, starting with the connection and foundations before gradually adding distance and distractions.

Mario did really well today, and I’m looking forward to seeing how he progresses over the next few sessions! 🥰🐾

Good recall starts with good foundations.❤️

The Clever Canine Co has grown from something I started because of my own dog into something I genuinely care so much about. 🐾

My aim has always been to help owners understand their dogs better, build their confidence and make training something that’s enjoyable for both dog and owner.

Whether it’s a brand new puppy, an excitable adolescent, a dog struggling with certain behaviours or simply working on the basics, I love seeing the progress that comes from giving both dogs and their owners the right support. 🤍

I’m so excited to see where this little business goes next and to welcome lots more dogs and owners throughout September! 🐶
