He is an entire, ginger male but with no chip.

He was found on Barnsley Road, South Elmsall.

Just a reminder again for today 17/09/26

We do not have a vet on site today so please contact one of our other branches for urgent or emergency cases.

We will also have no electric between 12 and 4pm due to maintenance. This means the phone lines and systems will be down. We will be unable to make any appointments or give out any medications

Please be advised that on Thursday 17/09/26 we will have no vet on site.

We will also have no electric between the hours of 12:00 - 16:00 for some essential maintenance works to be carried out. This means our phone lines and systems will be down. Due to this, we won't be able to to give out any medications, book appointments or take payments so please avoid these times.

We don't have a vet on site again today 13/08/26. There is also no vet scheduled for Pontefract. If you have an emergency today, we would suggest contacting another local vet to get treatment asap. For non emergency situations please call and we will get you in for our next available appointment.

❗️Public Notice❗️

Due to a shortage of vets in the region and no vet currently scheduled for our Pontefract branch, we are seeing an increased demand for appointments here.

Our staff are trying their very best to accomodate extra appointments and medication requests however, these may take longer than usual. If your pet is needing medication, please try and order this in advance to give our staff ample time to get this ready.
It may also take longer to get through on our phone lines due to increased call volumes. Our reception staff are working hard to get to your enquiries and a lot of the time there is only one of them to deal with calls, emails, insurance etc. Please be patient.

We do understand the frustration this is causing and our staff have no control over the vet situation so please be kind to them, they are doing everything they can to deal with the increased workload 🙏.
We only have one vet and two nurses who are working incredibly hard.
Abusive behaviour towards staff will not be tolerated.

Also due to increased demand, can people please refrain from using our car park if they are not attending the practice as we are finding clients are not able to get parked.
