I’m spending today helping out at the dog show and even getting involved with some of the judging 👀

🌞 GOOD MORNING EVERYONE! 🐾

A little different one from me this morning because tomorrow, on my actual DAY OFF 😂, I’ll be volunteering at the Paws for a Cause Dog Show with Canine Capabilities & 🙌🏻🐶

We’ve been to these events before and honestly they’re a fabulous family day out! Loads going on, plenty for the kids, dogs and us humans 😂 so bring the family, bring the dogs and come get involved 🙌🏻

I’ll be there helping judge some of the dog show classes and helping out throughout the day 🐾

🚨 JOB APPLICATION UPDATE 🚨

Well… OVER 100 OF YOU have messaged about our new jobs 😱😂🙌🏻

Firstly if you’ve WhatsApped, seen the blue ticks 👀 and thought “she’s bloody ignoring me”… I’M NOT! 😂 I’ve seen every single message!

I’ve literally just finished work yep, I actually work in the shop AND do the grooms too 😂 so over the next couple of weeks I’ll be properly going through everyone, narrowing applications down and inviting a good bunch of you in for interviews 🙌🏻

Unfortunately, for these particular roles we can’t accommodate college timetables at the moment. While we’re first getting the online side up and running, we’ll only have a small team so we need people who can be available Monday–Friday.

BUT college students, don’t worry! ❤️ Once we’re settled, found our feet and hopefully growing like mad, there may absolutely be roles that we can make work around college hours 🙌🏻

We’re big on giving people opportunities and helping younger people get their foot into the working world where we can we just need to get this first stage up and running before we can be a little more flexible. ❤️

🚚 DELIVERY DRIVERS
📅 Monday–Friday
⏰ Starting around 8am
🚐 Must be 21+, have a full clean UK driving licence and be confident driving a manual van, as you’ll be using our company vans.

Obviously if the website goes absolutely MENTAL 😂🤞🏻 then hours and delivery days could increase as we grow , which also means MORE STAFF and MORE JOBS for people in our local community! 🙌🏻❤️

And you all know we’re BIG on community at The Raw Empawrium. If growing this side of the business means we can keep creating more local jobs and giving people opportunities, then that makes it even better 🥹🙌🏻

Honestly, I’m LOVING the amount of interest ❤️ If I could employ all 100+ of you I would… but sadly I’m no millionaire 😂😂

🚨 WE’RE HIRING – THE RAW EMPAWRIUM ONLINE TEAM! 🚨

It’s getting closer 👀📦 Our brand new ONLINE side of The Raw Empawrium is nearly ready to go, which means it’s time to start building our new team! 🙌🏻

We’re looking for 5 NEW TEAM MEMBERS 👇🏻

🚚 2 x DELIVERY DRIVERS
Approx 18 hours per week, with the possibility of MORE hours as we grow.
⏰ Starting from 8am on delivery days.

⚠️ Drivers MUST hold a FULL, CLEAN UK driving licence as you’ll be driving our company van to complete customer deliveries.

📦 3 x ORDER PACKERS
Approx 18 hours per week, with the possibility of MORE hours as we grow.
⏰ Expected hours are currently around 8am – 2pm, although these may change slightly closer to our start date.

📍 All positions will be based from our new online unit in Pontefract.

📅 START DATE:
A start date will be given in due course once we have a confirmed date that we know the online unit will be completely ready to go 🙌🏻

We’re looking for people who are reliable, hardworking, organised and happy working in a busy, fast-paced environment. Experience isn’t essential as full training will be given!

With the darker nights creeping in, we best crack on 😂

🐾 SOOOOO GUYS… I’VE HAD AN LITTLE FUN IDEA 🙌🏻🐶

I’ve been thinking about starting a little weekly community dog walk!

As we’re literally only 5 minutes away from a lovely park/field area, I thought why not make the most of it 🙌🏻🌿

The idea would be to meet at the shop at 6pm one evening a week, then all head up together, have a good walk around the park/fields and make our way back 🐕🐾

I think it would be great for all the dogs who LOVE to socialise and make some new furry friends, but also nice for us humans too 😂 Have a chat, get out for a walk and actually get to know some of our customers a little better ❤️

And if you’ve ever wanted to pick my brains about raw feeding, treats, your dog or anything pet related, then I’m more than happy to have a chat and offer any advice I can whilst we’re out walking too 🙌🏻

Obviously it would be completely FREE — it is literally just us all going for a dog walk together 😂 but I’ll bring some treats along for the dogs to enjoy because I can’t exactly own a pet shop and turn up treat-less can I 🥴😂

Thinking once a week at 6pm to start with!
