🩸 DON’T CUT THE SECRET FLAP! 🩸

Has your floof got this little ear pocket? Go on… everyone’s checking now 😂… check your cat too!!!

It’s called Henry’s Pocket, officially the cutaneous marginal pouch. Yes, that’s its actual name. No, I haven’t named it after an ex 😂😂😂 (I’m extra hilarious today!!!)

This little fold of skin sits along the lower outer edge of the ear, and it’s VERY easy to catch with clippers if you haven’t spotted it.

Skin caught between blade teeth = pain, bleeding and one very unhappy floof.

Watch how I work from the inside out towards the edge, letting the blade skim over the flap rather than into it. Know where that skin is, slow down and respect the squish.

PROTECT. THE. FLAP.
Nobody wants a flap injury… a “flinjury”, if you will 🤭

He’s scared of the dryer around his head, bless him, so I gently blot away some moisture with kitchen roll. A little kitchen roll massage 💜

“Fanks, laydee…” 🐾

Floof welfare comes first. I’d rather have a happy, moist floof than a dry, miserable one. 🤭

Hang on a minute… I’m in my Lovemud work clothes. What’s going on?! 👀😂

And actually… I’m feeling excited!!!

2026 has been quite a year so far!!! Now my miracle Maxie is more settled, I’ve been wondering whether it’s time to get a few client floofs back on my grooming table 🐾💜

Just a few. Ease myself in, have some floofy company, create some content and remember why I fell in love with all this in the first place.

Obviously there’ll be grooming. But also snogging, ridiculous conversations, me getting far too attached and dropping things while saying “DO-ING!” 😂 Just like old times.

What do we reckon… shall I get back to sorting out some knotty noo-noos? ✂️🐾

Floof cuddles, obviously. That’s four words now. Already failed my own task. That’s how slick I am at this social media business 😂

But snogging floofs? Absolutely nail that. A unique social media floof-snogging phenomenon. And proud.

Teddy bear muzzle looking like a pointy triangle?! 🧸 📐

I used to do this ALL the time. Trying to tidy under the eyes and accidentally taking half the floofin’ muzzle with it!!

Under the eyes and the muzzle are two different areas. Once I stopped treating them as one, those round teddy bear faces became a lot easier!

Does that make sense?… Watch the video. Hopefully that explains it better than I have in word form here!!! I know what I mean 😂

Also, can we appreciate Lelo’s massive beautiful eyes please. She’s so needy. I identify with her. Obviously I adore her.

Apparently I’m furniture now. Lenny gets comfy on top of me and that’s it. Can’t move. Can’t reach my tea. Certainly can’t disturb His Floofiness.
