🐴 A little reminder about how we do things at Goodamoor Equine Laundry… 🐴
We know there are lots of offers and different pricing structures around at the moment, and we completely understand that price is important when you have a pile of rugs waiting to be washed!
But we thought it was worth reminding you why our pricing works the way it does. ❤️
At Goodamoor, we NEVER mix rugs from different customers or yards.
Your rugs stay together as an individual customer/yard from the moment they arrive with us, through the washing process and right back to you.
And this is something we've actually invested in.
We have two different-sized washing machines, which means we're able to choose the machine that is appropriate for the job.
If someone sends us just one rug, that rug can be washed on its own.
If they've sent several rugs, we can wash those together.
If you've sent several dog beds, they can stay together too.
We have a larger machine for customers with more rugs, but even then, we don't fill the remaining space with rugs from another yard just to make the machine as full as possible.
If there's only two rugs in the machine, there's only two rugs in the machine. Simple. 😊
Why?
Because for us, preventing cross-contamination is more important than squeezing every last rug into a wash.
We know our prices may sometimes be a little higher than some other options out there, but that's because you're paying for the way we operate — not simply for the wash itself.

✔️ A single rug can be washed completely on its own
✔️ We don't fill machines with other customers' rugs
✔️ We take contamination seriously
✔️ Every customer's rugs are treated as their own
We're horse owners too, and we know how important it is to know exactly what is happening to your horse's rugs — particularly when you're dealing with multiple horses, yards or anything that needs that extra bit of care.
So whilst we absolutely appreciate that there are cheaper offers around, please don't just compare the price per rug — compare what you're actually getting for that price.
For us, it's always been about doing the job properly, safely and with the same care we'd expect for our own horses' rugs. 🐴❤️
