Tommy, Bruce, Bishop, Cleo, Bee, Milo, Corbyn, The Teddies & Rusty 🐾

Glorious start to the day, the sun was shining, the birds were singing and Tommy had his nose to the ground. Bishop had a good roll in some bird p**p so he was a happy camper. Every one had a good sniff in the bracken and enjoyed flushing out and treats the could find 🍂

Bit of a delay to the second walk of the day due to the temporary traffic lights causing bother but we got there in the end! Teddy was unsuccessful in his quest to find fix p**p today but where he failed Corbyn picked up the mantle. He may not have found p**p but he did find plenty of mud to cover himself in 😅

Well that's it for me this week folks. I'm off to enjoy my birthday celebrations. Thanks for another cracker of a week. Hope everyone weathers the storm 🌩️🌪️🌬️

Humpday Hounds 🐶

Louie, Ziggy, Webber, Bruce, Sadie, Cleo, Bee, Bishop, Nellie, Teddy & Rosie 🐾

Bit of a wobble for me this morning as a wave of grief hit me over Optimus. What a wild ride! Best thing for it? Get outside with a bunch of loonies in the paddock to start the day. Wonderful play between Louie & the girls. Sadie is excellent at adjusting her play style for her much smaller friends so everyone is having fun but I'm a safe "I won't squish my mates" way. Webber and Bruce took the opportunity to roll around in the wet grass 🌿

Some more play to uplift the spirits on the second walk as Rosie continues to have a go at making friends. She even had a little game with Bishop once he realised her play style is basically charge and then not quite know what happens next. Nellie has become a firm friend for Rosie helping Rosie come out of her shell and encourage her to play. Bee acted like she's never seen rabbit p**p before whilst being equally starved and Teddy took advantage of my grappling with Bee to roll in some lovely fresh green p**p. Touche sir 💩

Cleo, Bee, Hugo, Stitch, Tommy, Sadie, Bishop, Bobby, Brice, Indie & Teddy 🐾

Lovely chilled morning with the grey folk. Hugo was very spritlely which made for a faster paced walk. Stitch enjoyed a chomp on the grass whilst I tried to police the rabbit poo intake with the girls 🤦🏻‍♀️

Mid morning paddock pals and Sadie used the boys as hurdles on occasion. Bobby and Tommy had a good run around together while Bishop enjoyed fishing out the treats from the bracken 🎣

Boys club to end the day. Inadvertently went to pick Rosie up when she wasn't in today so once I got my head screwed back on me and the boys had a nice jolly in the fields and woods. Teddy spent most of today having a nice roll on the flip side of that Indie also enjoyed a roll but in something much less savoury 💩

Indie, Henry, Bruce Cleo, Louie, Alfie, Bee, Milo, Ted, Teddy, Rusty & Penny 🐾

Paddock fun to kick start the day. Henry joined us with his me whaircut which he was keen to show off. Bruce serenaded the walk whilst Louie,Cleo & Alfie had a good run about together. Indie found an old ball so was quite happy to carry that around with him 🥎

The last walkers of the day and Teddy enjoyed his usual roll. Rusty had a case of the zoomies. Milo also found a ball today so another item to be carried along. Penny had a run around after Teddy and Ted enjoyed sniffing out some treats 🌿

Bee, Cleo, Indie, Nellie, Alfie, Milo, Nellie, Rosie & Ted 🐾

Despite what the pics portray Bee does actually get fed. If you can just ignore the poor starved pug it would be appreciated. When I wasn't being screamed at by my own dog we enjoyed a nice autumnal jolly in the woods. Indie was in spaniel heaven and loved picking up the scents as did Alfie. The girls were more keen to have a game whilst I did my best not to get taken out 🍂

The last walkers of the day had the most chill walk. Just a nice slow bimble through the fields for all. Optional roll in the grass for Milo. Nellie and Rosie enjoyed snuffling out some treats and I'm not entirely convinced Tes isn't part cow due to his love of grass eating 🌿

Welp. That's four weeks in the bag folks. Made it an entire month of walking. I may have been without my van(now returned) I may be one tooth down and hopefully not another after this afternoon's trip but I've made it. I'm getting more and more spry everyday. So onwards and upwards lads. Remember I'm off next Friday as Scorpio season fast approaches and I'll be coming out of hibernation to celebrate my birthday ♏🎉🙌🏻

✨J U R A S S I C B A R K I S F I V E ✨

Jurassic Bark Plymouth turns five years old today. And on national pug day no less. So here's a pic of Bumblebee celebrating like the hard working employee she is.

This year has certainly been riddled with more downs than ups as you guys well know if you've been following our journey. I'm currently fighting week two of raging tooth ache, the van is in for yet ANOTHER repair, I sound like Herman Munster when I walk and we had the sad news that our dear girl Rosie has gone for her forever sleep. All I can say is I'm grateful I've made it this far. Ness didn't raise a quitter. So thank you. Thank you for still being here, thank you for sticking by me when it got pretty ropey and thank you(especially to Penny's mom) who thought I was in my early 30s 🎈🎉🍰

Happy 5th birthday Jurassic Bark Plymouth and thank god for SPF 💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻

Paddock play to start the day. Plenty of busy noses and very glad to have Sadie back minus an eye patch! Tommy spent most of his time with his head in the bushes which was time well spent in his mind. The girls had a little game whilst Bruce delighted with his dulcet tones. Henry must have had a new battery put in him as most of the pics I took of him were blurry 🔋

The second walkers of the day and we had the welcome sight of Penny who has returned back into the fold with her friends a newly anointed big sister! Congratulations to Penny and her family. He may not be furry but he's part of the family now. Teddy celebrated with a roll and some play with Penny and Rusty. Milo found a nice rock to roll on as is his way and Ted munched on some grass 🌿

It's with a very heavy heart that we say goodbye to our wonderful girl Rosie who has gone over the rainbow bridge.

White, white, sunshine bright,
Full of joy and full of light.
A happy soul full of joy,
She made her own fun no need for a toy.
Waiting by the door ready for her walk,
Keen to get gone whilst me and her mum would talk.
She had many friends in all shapes and sizes,
She would run, frolic, no cares just one of her prizes.
Her mind may have stumbled towards the end but we want her to know that she leaves behind many a friend 🐾💕🌈

All of our love to Rosie's wonderful family who will no doubt feel her loss keenly. She's with Opti now and he'll look after her 💕🥹

Humpday Hounds 🐶

Bruce, Bishop, Rosie, Teddy, Louie, Webber, Ziggy, Huxley, Nellie & Cleo 🐾

Lovely walk in the woods to start the day. Plenty a squirrel about but no one noticed them except for me which was also fine by me! Cleo and Ziggy had a good chase with each other. Nellie got the zoomies in the fallen leaves and Huxley was most put out by the spiky conker shells littering the ground close to his low belly. On the flip side I had fun removing them and debris from Webber 🍂🌰

A nice field, wood, field loop to end the day. Apologies to Rosie who is not a hill gal and will likely not move for the rest of the day after that climb. Bishop loved a run through the trees with Louie not far behind him. Bruce and Teddy were very keen to make our way back to the grass for a nice soggy roll in it 🌿

Cleo, Hugo, Stitch, Bee, Teddy, Sadie, Tommy, Bruce & Bobby 🐾

We had a gentle mooch around the fields today as Hugo had a bit of a limp so slow and steady to start the day. Plenty to sniff as we shared our walk with some deer. No one paid any notice and we all respectfully went about our business 🦌

Lots going on the second walk of the day, Sadie went on a collision course into Bruce(may have been just as effective running at a tree) and did herself an injur. Two very big dogs with equal lack of spatial awareness.. Sadie will likely be sporting the dog equivalent of a black eye at the very least. Get well hugs to Sadie. We then were warned as someone had bumped into a very much alive snake on the path so that was something we did not need to tackle. Tommy made it very clear something wild was lurking so on the lead he went as I didn't fancy a Fenton moment to be the cherry on top of an already eventful walk🍒
