🌺 We are very proud to announce that ‘Poppy’s Pet Crematorium Plymouth’ is officially open. Based in Miller Court, Millbay.

Our aim is to provide a caring, dignified, transparent service, treating every pet entrusted to us with the compassion they deserve.

We understand first hand that saying goodbye to our much loved pets is one of the hardest times a family can face.

🌈 𝐋𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐑𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐛𝐨𝐰 𝐁𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐠𝐞 ✉️

We understand that the bond we share with our pets never truly ends. Sometimes, there are words left unsaid, memories we want to revisit, or simply a need to feel close to those we miss.

We are pleased to introduce our new '𝐋𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐑𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐛𝐨𝐰 𝐁𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐠𝐞' post box at our crematorium. This special space has been created for anyone wishing to write a letter to a beloved pet who has crossed the Rainbow Bridge.

Whether its a message of love, a cherished memory, a birthday wish, or simply a note to say "I miss you", your letters are welcome here.

Grief has no timeline, and remembrance takes many forms. We hope this small gesture offers comfort, connection, and a meaningful way to honour the pets who will always hold a place in our hearts.

Because love never leaves us, even when they do.

Our first batch of our Poppy’s team clothing has officially arrived… and we absolutely love it! ✨🌺

We’re incredibly excited to continue sharing our journey with you as we move closer towards opening day. There’s still so much more to come, and we can’t wait to keep bringing you updates over the coming weeks.

Meet Poppy 🌺🐾

The heart and inspiration behind everything we do.

We welcomed Poppy into our lives as a puppy. Lively, mischievous, endlessly energetic, and completely adorable. A true springer spaniel in every sense. She quickly became more than just a pet, she was our companion, our comfort, and our loyal friend through both the best and the most difficult times.

Poppy gave us a lifetime of love, and although she lived a full and happy 11 years, losing her left a space that can never be filled.

When she became ill, it happened incredibly fast. She was her usual self on the Friday, and by Sunday, after a night at the vets, we had to say goodbye. As any pet owner understands, that loss is truly heartbreaking. You don’t just lose a pet, you lose a member of your family.

We chose to have Poppy cremated, but it was only when we asked more questions that we discovered she would be transported over 200 miles away. The thought of our beloved girl being placed in a van with other pets and taken so far from home was devastating. It felt impersonal at a time when everything should have been handled with care and dignity.

That moment became our turning point.

We knew that the families and pets of Plymouth deserved something better, something more personal, more compassionate, and closer to home. No long journeys. No unnecessary delays. Just dignity, respect, and gentle care at every step.

And so, Poppy's was created.

At Poppy’s, we offer a gentle, tailored and truly personal approach, because we know that every pet is unique and every goodbye is different. We take the time to listen, to understand your wishes, and to care for your pet in a way that reflects the love you shared.

We’re here to support you with compassion and understanding, guiding you gently through each step and answering any questions you may have. We care for every pet as if they were our own, because we know just how much they mean.

As a family of animal lovers, this isn’t just what we do, it’s something we truly care about. We are always open, honest, and here for you whenever you need us.
