This gorgeous poser is Dotty the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. She came in for a much needed tidy up and she did very well! It was only Dotty's second ever professional groom so she was a little bit nervous. She did very well during her bath and enjoyed her blueberry facial. She was a little unsure of the dryer so we made use of the trusty happy hoodie, and we took lots of breaks so she could have some fuss and cuddles. We can't want to see this little angel again soon and watch her confidence grow 🫧🫶🐶

🎄✨ Christmas Appointments ✨🎄

I know we haven't even made it past Halloween and I've gone and mentioned the 'C' word 🙈😬 but my December diary is filling up quickly!

I have already reached out to everyone and have most of you booked in, but I am still waiting to hear back from a few clients. I currently have the December diary blocked off from my website to ensure my existing clients are able to secure a spot. However, I will be opening these dates to new clients to be able to book in from the start of November, so please get in touch by sending me a direct message as soon as possible to ensure your furry family members can get the pamper they deserve before the big day!

I will also be offering a limited number of Christmas goodie bags which can be added to your appointment, and will be available from mid-November. More information to follow (pending further discussion with Santa Paws) 🧑‍🎄

Is she the sweetest little furry potato ever? Yes.
Does she turn into a complete diva as soon as you get the dreaded nail clippers out? Also yes. 🙈 I mean would she truly be a Pug if she didn't!?
Ruby was an absolute pleasure to have in the salon and she thoroughly enjoyed her bath and her towel dry, and she had the funniest zoomies! She made sure to enjoy the treats on offer and repaid her thanks with lots of wriggly kisses 😚 we can't wait to see Ruby again soon! 🥰🐾

✨ proud moment alert ✨ This sweet face belongs to the lovely Daisy, the Schnauzer Poodle cross. Daisy is what I like to call 'delicately spicy' - she's an incredibly affectionate older lady, but she finds the grooming experience a bit overwhelming. She likes things done at her pace, and she politely tells you when she has had enough. We have been slowly building her confidence, chipping away at her haircut little and often, and during her most recent groom we were able to complete all four of her legs, feet and nails for the very first time. It may not seem a lot, but Daisy has come so far and I'm incredibly proud of her progress! Well done Daisy! 🎖️🫶🥰

✨ Polite Notice & Reminders ✨

Lady & the Mutts is by appointment only. Please do not turn up if you have not booked an appointment. If you have a query regarding the booking site, or regarding my services, please message me or leave a voicemail, and I will get back to you as soon as I can.

I work solely on a one-to-one basis with limited time between scheduled clients, meaning I have limited time to ensure the salon has been properly cleaned and disinfectant, all relevant admin has been completed and equipment is prepared and ready for the following appointment. Any interruption of this then encroaches onto the following session.
Working on a one-to-one basis means I will only contact, or respond to, messages or calls from the owner of the dog I have in my care at that time. I will respond to all other messages and missed calls as soon as I am able to do so.

I am in the process of getting a separate doorbell for the salon, but in the meantime, please remember to message me when you have arrived both for drop off and collection. Please avoid knocking, or ringing the doorbell on the house, as I will not hear this down in the salon. This will only result in the CEO of Lady & the Mutts barking rather rudely at you, and annoying my very lovely and very patient neighbours 🫶

I appreciate that people are keen to get their dogs booked in as soon as possible, and I am truly honoured that people want to get their dogs booked in with me 🙏 I will make every effort to book clients in the diary wherever is physically and safely possible, without encroaching on other scheduled appointments, and within my working hours.

Lastly, a massive thank you to all of my lovely clients for your ongoing support of Lady & the Mutts, and for trusting me with your wonderful furry family members!

Isn't she pretty!? 😍 This is the beautiful Bella, the Golden Retriever, and she came in for a much needed pamper and de-shed. Bella was so lovely to have in the salon, she thoroughly enjoyed her session and made sure to make the most of the many cuddles and treats on offer. Her coat looked and felt so healthy after her appointment and she smelled divine! What a gorgeous lady! 🐶🥹🥰

Seeing double!? This is the lovely Enzo and Ellie, a pair of Miniature Schnauzers. They came into the salon recently for their full grooming session and it was a pleasure to have them! Enzo was extremely relaxed throughout his session and took everything in his stride. Ellie was also very good for her groom and she enjoyed talking to me throughout! Looking forward to seeing this sweet man and chatty lady again soon! 🐾🫶🫧

Some of you may remember a photo of a rather soggy, rather cute little puppy in the bath tub not too long ago. Well that little puppy has finally graduated and had his first official full groom 🎓🎖️ Buddy has always been so affectionate and well behaved, and it's been a pleasure watching him grow. We've still got a little way to go, and a little more convincing that the clippers are not the enemy, but he's done brilliantly and I couldn't be happier ☺️ just look at how adorable he is!! 😍

This is Millie! She visited us for her very first professional grooming appointment recently and she was very brave. Millie needed a lot of reassurance that the bath was not the worst thing in the world. She had eventually settled (or so she'd have me believe!), but once she was all soapy, Millie decided that was the best time to attempt an escape! After I too had been thoroughly soaked, it was time for us both to get dry - Millie thoroughly enjoyed her towel dry and she had the craziest zoomies afterwards! We finished the session with lots of cuddles and we can't wait to see this loveable whirlwind again soon! 🛁🫧🐶
