🐾🤍 Our beautiful Boscha 🤍🐾

This is one of the hardest parts of doing a job where you build such special bonds with the dogs in your care. 💔

Boscha has been part of my journey right from the very beginning. For over two years, I’ve had the pleasure of walking her 3–4 times a week, and in that time, she’s become so much more than just a dog I walk. She’s become part of my little family. 🐶🤍

Anyone who knew Boscha will know she was quite the character! 😂 Our little escape artist, who loved nothing more than dancing for a treat, and who would happily bark at absolutely anyone she laid eyes on! Yet underneath all that attitude was the most loving, beautiful girl with the biggest heart. 🥹❤️

We’ve made so many wonderful memories together, from adventures out and about to all the fun we’ve had at her field. Memories I will treasure forever.

As dog lovers, we know that the hardest part of loving these animals is knowing we don’t get to keep them forever. And when you spend so much time with them, building trust, love and a bond over the years, saying goodbye is absolutely heartbreaking.

It’s now time to let our beautiful Boscha go and rest peacefully. 🌈🐾

Thank you for over two years of love, laughter, adventures and unforgettable memories, Boscha. You’ve left paw prints on my heart that will never fade. 🤍

Hold your doggies that little bit tighter tonight. Give them an extra cuddle, an extra kiss and cherish every moment you have with them.

Run free, beautiful girl. You will be missed more than words can ever say. 🕊️🐾🤍

🚨😡 HAS ANYONE GOT A NAME FOR THIS WOMAN?! ABSOLUTELY DISGRACEFUL!! 😡🚨

PLEASE SHARE!! I CAN’T BELIEVE WHAT SHE’S BEEN DOING AROUND IVYBRIDGE AND SURROUNDING AREAS!! 😱🐾

Apparently, there’s a woman pulling up outside people’s houses, collecting their dogs and taking them off in a van… 👀

Naturally, people were concerned…

BUT WHAT HAPPENS NEXT IS SHOCKING!! 😡

✨ The dogs come back happier than ever!
✨ They’ve been out having the best time on their walks!
✨ They’re learning manners, recall and basic training while they’re out!
✨ They’ve had fun, exercise, enrichment and lots of love!
✨ And somehow… they’re even tired when they get home!! 😱😂

AND THE WORST PART?!

THEY KEEP WANTING TO GO BACK!! 😤😂

Dogs are apparently waiting by the door for her…
Getting excited when the van pulls up…
And dragging their owners outside to go with her!! 🐶🚐

She’s even been accused of giving dogs the best day ever while owners are at work!! 😡😂

WHO DOES SHE THINK SHE IS?! 😤

😂 IT’S ME!! I’M THE WOMAN!!

I’m Melissa, the face behind Take The Lead K9 🐾

I offer dog walking in Ivybridge and surrounding areas, and I don’t just walk dogs — I also include basic training, enrichment, structure and plenty of fun along the way. ❤️

🐶🌿 Would you believe this is a secure field?! 🐾💦

That’s right, we’re not down at the local river! This is actually our very own secure field, with a beautiful river running right through it! 🌳🐕💧

With around 6 acres of secure land for our morning group sessions, our dogs have plenty of space to run, explore, play and enjoy being dogs! 🐶🤎

From splashing about in the river to zoomies around the field, there’s never a dull moment with this bunch! 🐕💦🐾

📍 Mid morning - lunch group sessions covering Ivybridge and surrounding areas!

Happy dogs, muddy paws and wagging tails – just how we like it! 🐾🤎

* EDIT * - sorry not to be rented to public this is private land we use ourselves 🐾🖤

The power of two sisters & a breed of dog that is so judged for all the wrong reasons 🤍

Plan A, because there was never a Plan B. 🐾🤎

I always knew I wanted to work with animals, and I was determined to turn that passion into something bigger.

What started as a dream has become my everyday reality. Early mornings, muddy paws, endless adventures, hard work and so many happy faces along the way. 🐶

Building a business from the ground up isn’t always easy, but when you genuinely love what you do, every challenge is worth it.

These dogs aren’t just part of my job, they’re the reason I love getting up every morning.

Forever grateful that I took the chance, believed in myself and never gave up on what I wanted.

There’s nothing quite like building a life you don’t need a break from. 🤎🐾
