Very busy day to day, but luckily I had the help of Mr.Pooches today! Which is always nice, I know one dogs that was over the moon to see him. Franny was a very happy pooch today, as was Luna, Bonnie, Loki and Otto! Mr.Pooch aka my hubby always let them play with a ball.
Where’s as I hardly ever let them, I’m not a kill joy, while fetch is a natural and fun activity, constant or unmonitored ball play can lead to physical injuries, chronic stress, and obsessive behaviors.
Physical Risks
• Joint and Soft-Tissue Strain: Rapid acceleration, hard braking, sliding, and sharp twists place heavy stress on a dog's knees, shoulders, and ligaments, which can lead to sprains, cruciate tears, or early-onset arthritis.
• Growth Plate Damage: Puppies and young dogs whose bones and joints are still developing are especially vulnerable to micro-injuries from repetitive high-impact leaping and stopping.
Some conditions they won’t be thankful for in later life.
I do try to think of the dogs whole existence when, I am looking after them. ❤️
Hope you all have a lovely weekend 😚
