Treating your animals as our own is paramount and providing care within a warm, safe and friendly home is so important to us. We provide everything they really need and more, while you are working or on holiday. Having over 10 years hands on experience, working along s

ide many breeds of all ages and personalities. We welcome every breed, big or small. We also offer care for other animals/pets, so please do send your enquiry. Happy hounds is owed and run by a higher level certified canine behaviour specialist, who has 5 years worth of relevant qualifications - including canine science & behaviour, nutrition, training, & animal care. We offer pet care services purely to your specification. Services Include - short & long term boarding, walks, and day care. Other pet services are also available. Whilst your canine visits happy hounds they must be up to date with all vaccinations, including their annual booster. We will also request proof of all vaccinations, and evidence of recent administration of your pet's flea and worming treatments. It is essential your canine is comfortable with other dogs and children. Please do message with any enquires, we are happy to answer any questions you may have.

🐾 A little weekend announcement from Happy Hounds & Friends! 🎉🐶

Just a quick heads-up that Friday, Saturday & Sunday , admin will be taking a little break and messages will not be answered..

We also won’t be offering daycare, walks or training sessions over the weekend, as I’ll be busy celebrating my birthday! 🥳🎂💃

Our lovely boarding guests already staying with us will, of course, still be cared for as normal and getting all the love, attention and cuddles they need. 🐾❤️

Normal services and admin will resume on 🐾Monday 🐾

Dear Clients,

Please take a moment to review our full **Terms of Service** before making a booking.

While I pride myself on being flexible and empathetic to individual circumstances, I am also running a longstanding professional business and need to operate accordingly.

These policies are in place to ensure the **highest standard of care for every dog** in my care, while also ensuring fairness, consistency, and clarity for all clients

**Key Terms**

🐾 **Deposits:** A deposit is required to secure all bookings. Deposits are non-refundable.

🐾 **Cancellations & Changes:** Our cancellation policy and terms regarding changes, amendments, or shortened stays are outlined in the Terms of Service.

🐾 **Payment:** Full boarding fees are payable upon arrival.

🐾 **Collection:** Standard collection times and our late collection policy are outlined in the Terms. Late collection fees may apply.

🐾 **Honesty & Disclosure:** Full and honest disclosure of your dog’s behaviour, health, medical needs, temperament, and any other relevant information is required **before booking**. This is essential for the safety and wellbeing of your dog and all other dogs in my care.

🐾 **Medical & Medication:** Any medical conditions, allergies, medication, dietary requirements, or special care needs must be disclosed prior to booking. Medication must be clearly labelled and accompanied by appropriate instructions.

🐾 **Vaccinations & Preventative Care:** All required vaccinations and preventative treatments must be up to date and valid for the duration of your dog’s stay.

🐾 **Behaviour & Safety:** Any behavioural concerns, including aggression, reactivity, resource guarding, separation difficulties, or other issues that may affect your dog or others, must be disclosed honestly before booking. Failure to disclose relevant information may result in the booking being declined or terminated where necessary for safety reasons.

🐾 **Emergency Care:** In the event that your dog becomes unwell or requires veterinary attention during their stay, I reserve the right to seek appropriate veterinary care. Any veterinary or associated costs remain the responsibility of the owner.

🐾 **Emergency Contact:** Clients should provide an alternative emergency contact who can be reached if the owner is unavailable.

🐾 **Personal Belongings:** Please ensure all food, medication, leads, belongings, and other items provided for your dog are clearly labelled. Please refer to the full Terms regarding responsibility for personal belongings.

I am always happy to discuss individual circumstances where possible, but the Terms apply consistently to all clients so that I can operate my business fairly and professionally.
