🐾 A LITTLE UPDATE FROM OUR DREAM TEAM! 🐾❤️

First of all, we just wanted to apologise for being a little quiet on here lately and for not posting as many gorgeous doggy pictures as we usually do! 📸🐶

Please don’t think we’ve disappeared! We’ve simply been very, very busy behind the scenes! 🐾✂️

Since Megs left us in August to embark on a completely different career path, we’ve been working incredibly hard to accommodate as many of her lovely doggies as possible, alongside caring for all our wonderful, loyal customers and their four-legged family members. It’s certainly kept us on our toes, and we’re so grateful to everyone who has been patient and supportive while we’ve been juggling everything. ❤️

As you all know, dog grooming isn’t just a job to us — it’s something we genuinely love and are incredibly passionate about. Every dog that walks through our door becomes part of our extended family, and we take so much pride in making sure they receive the love, care, patience and attention they deserve. 🐶❤️

For those who may not know, our little team consists of me, Dee, my daughter Charleigh, and our lovely Sophie, who has been by my side for years! 🥰

We really are a little dream team, and I couldn’t be prouder of what we do together. We all share the same love and passion for our job, and although things have been extremely busy lately, we’re excited about what the future holds for us. ❤️🐾

So, what does the future look like for us? ✨

At the moment, the three of us are working really well together, and we’re happy with how things are running. We may consider expanding the team in the future, whether that means welcoming another self-employed groomer or possibly taking on a bathing assistant to help us behind the scenes.

However, we’ve always believed that it’s not about having a big team — it’s about having the right team. Anyone joining us would need to share our values, our work ethic, our love for the dogs and our commitment to providing the best possible care. We would never want to rush into bringing someone new on board just for the sake of it. The right person will come along at the right time! ❤️

For now, it’s business as usual with our little trio, working hard, doing what we love and making sure all our gorgeous doggies leave us looking and feeling fabulous! 🛁✂️🐩

We also want to say a massive thank you to all our lovely customers for your continued loyalty, patience, recommendations and support. We honestly appreciate every single one of you, and we wouldn’t be here without you. ❤️

We’ll do our best to share more pictures, updates and gorgeous faces with you all as we go along, so keep your eyes peeled! 👀📸

🚨 PLEASE SHARE — HELP BRAMBLE COME HOME 🚨 🐾🤎

It has now been two whole weeks since our beautiful Bramble went missing, and her family are absolutely devastated. 💔

There have been no confirmed sightings at all, and the not knowing where she is or what has happened to her is heartbreaking.

Bramble is so much more than just a dog — she is a huge part of her family and her children’s best friend. They are heartbroken and miss her more than words can say. Every day they ask where she is, whether she’s okay and if she’s coming home. 💔

We are desperately hoping that Bramble is still out there somewhere and that someone, somewhere, knows something.

🙏 If you have seen Bramble, had a possible sighting, heard anything, or have even the smallest piece of information, please get in touch with her family.

Appointment & Cancellation Policy 🐾

To all of our lovely customers, both new and existing, thank you so much for choosing us to groom your furry friends. We truly appreciate your support.

We kindly ask that when booking an appointment, you are mindful of our cancellation policy.

We completely understand that life happens and sometimes appointments need to be changed or cancelled. If this is the case, we ask that you please give us at least 48 hours’ notice.

Our grooming appointments are booked in 2 to 3-hour time slots, and without enough notice it is often impossible for us to fill that space at short notice. This means we lose valuable income while also having turned away other customers who wanted that appointment.

As a small independent dog grooming salon, if you don’t attend your appointment, we don’t get paid. This is why our cancellation policy is in place.

Please note:

• Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice will incur a 50% charge of the booked appointment.
• No-shows (failing to attend without letting us know) will also be charged 50% of the appointment fee.
• This policy applies regardless of the reason for the cancellation, as the appointment time has been reserved especially for you and your dog.

We understand this may be disappointing, but we hope you can appreciate that this policy allows us to continue providing the best possible service to all of our customers and keep our small business running.

To help me continue providing the safest and best care for your dogs, I have updated my Grooming Terms & Conditions for 2026.

I kindly ask that all customers read and sign my Grooming Agreement before their next grooming appointment. This ensures everyone understands my policies regarding your dog’s welfare, veterinary emergencies, cancellations, matting, payments, and other important information.

If the agreement has not been completed before your appointment, I will ask you to sign it before I can groom your dog.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support. My priority is always the health, safety, and wellbeing of every dog that visits Soapy Bubbles. ❤️🐶

🌞🐶 Hot Weather Reminder 🐶🌞
We have air conditioning in the salon to help keep your dogs cool and comfortable. However, please do not walk your dog before their grooming appointment. In this heat, we may have to turn dogs away if we feel it is unsafe for them to be groomed.
Please bear with us, as some grooms may take a little longer during this hot weather, as your dog’s comfort and wellbeing always come first.
Fresh water will be available throughout their visit, although some dogs choose not to drink while they are with us.

🚨 WE ARE NOT CLOSING 🚨
Just a quick update for our customers.
We’ve become aware of some confusion regarding recent changes within the business. One of our self-employed groomers Meg’s has decided to leave to pursue a completely different career path, and we wish her all the very best for the future.
We would like to reassure everyone that Scooby-Dee’s is not closing and will continue to operate as normal. We still have three team members in the salon who are here to help and provide the same great service to you and your pets.
If you are one of her customers and would like to remain with Scooby-Dee’s, we would be more than happy to help if we are able to accommodate your dog. Please get in touch with us, and we’ll do our best to find a suitable appointment for you.
We may also have another self-employed groomer joining the team in the near future, and we’ll keep you updated as soon as we have more news to share.
