The Sunny Season is a huge strain on so many resourses. Historically we have seen animal numbers increase across all our animal sections. Kitten season tends to run from May-Oct and this means we regularly have double our normal cat numbers during this time at least.

We launched the Sunny Season Plea (SSP) to help raise funds needed primarily to help with the medical costs, but also the increase in food costs, cat litter, cleaning supplies and additional staff.

🐾💗 CAN YOU HELP BLUEBELL, FAITH & LUNA? 💗🐾

Our three gorgeous girls, Bluebell, Faith & Luna, all need to be fed on a completely raw food diet, and unfortunately our stocks are running very low!

We’re asking if anyone has any unused raw food for dogs that they would be able to spare for these three lovely girls. Every donation, no matter how big or small, would be hugely appreciated. ❤️

Please note, the food must be completely raw and not steamed. Unfortunately, we are unable to accept brands such as Bella & Duke and Butternut Box at this time.

📍 Donation drop-offs:
At the sanctuary, we are open 7 days a week, 10am–4pm.

If you have any suitable raw food that you no longer need, please consider donating it to Bluebell, Faith & Luna. We would be incredibly grateful for your support. 🐶🐶🐶💕

We're dotty about Dottie!
This pretty girl is a new arrival at the sanctuary and is finding kennel life a little overwhelming.
Dottie can be timid when she first meets new people but, once she gets to know you, it’s lovely to see her sweet, friendly nature.
Dottie is a 2-year-old grey/tan Dachshund. She is good with dogs and cats and could live with children aged 3+.
She can be a bit vocal on lead with other dogs but is good with them. Dottie is also happy to be around cats but may bark because she wants to play.
UPDATE : NO MORE APPLICATIONS FOR DOTTIE CAN BE TAKEN ,AS WE HAVE BEEN INUNDATED, AND ARE WORKING OUR WAY THROUGH.

Great Dane Xena is a big, beautiful, bouncy pup who loves to learn and play.
Xena, who is just 6 months old, has so much potential, which has shone through during her short time at the sanctuary.
Due to her previous owner’s long working hours, they weren't able to give Xena the time and attention she needs.
Since arriving here, she's enjoyed working with her carers to learn basic manners and how to walk nicely on lead.
This training will need to continue in her forever home, where her new owners will need to be firm and consistent, as Xena is strong – both in stature and will!
Xena can live with dogs, a dog-savvy cat and older children.

say hello to super-Nova!
New arrival Nova is a very sweet, playful and friendly girl who's quickly winning the hearts of everyone at the sanctuary.
Nova, a 2-year-old Staffie x Ridgeback x Frenchie, is good with dogs and enjoys being around them, has previously lived with cats and just wanted to play with them and has lived with children aged 4+.
She came to the sanctuary because her owner felt they could no longer give her what she needed.
