Ego has no place here 🧡

I’ve been struggling with Rox and her training, I hit a wall and didn’t know which direction to take.
Instead of pushing through and just carrying on doing the same thing I reached out to other trainers to ask for advice.

She’s been showing potentially dangerous behaviour in the home, frustration based mouthing that escalated to biting, and everything we tried to stop it turned it into more of a game for her.

They had a session with Rosie and me,

And then we realised she needed something more than we can give her, so I reached out to my other bestie 🧡 Ivory Dogs as he specialises in fitness and athletics for dogs.

Zac very kindly made the two hour drive last Saturday to assess Roxi and see what activities she’d be suited to that would help prevent the build up of the frustration that was leading to the unwanted behaviours.

So we’ve now put a plan in place to help stop the frustration happening in the first place as opposed to dealing with it when it occurs!

She’s improving so much and hopefully we’re on the right track!
