What a great start we had to Module 2 of our NLP Business Practitioner Programme yesterday!

A new group was formed and it was lovely to see everyone connecting and engaging so quickly — both with each other and with the course content.

And then there was the lunch…

Sadly, our caterer couldn’t make it, so we had an unexpected opportunity to put our teamwork into practice! One person made the salad, someone else prepared the dessert, another chopped the bread… and together we enjoyed a delicious lasagne that somehow tasted even better because of our combined catering efforts!

It was a lovely reminder that great teams don’t always need everything to go to plan — they adapt, pitch in and make things happen together.

And to top it all, we celebrated one of our attendees’ birthdays!

A great first day, lots of learning, laughter and connection — and I’m really looking forward to Day 2 today!

Let’s see what today brings…

Thankful Thursday

It was great to go to The Lincoln Arts Centre and see Andre’s tribute to David Bowie this week.

Superfan – The Property of Andre Waszczyszyn is on until the 22nd October and definitely worth a visit.

It was a poignant meet up with our dear friend Sue, Andre’s wife. We had a laugh (and a few tears) as we remembered Andre and his passion for David Bowie.

I’m wondering what you are thankful for this Thursday?

Looking forward to a couple of days of diving deep into Lencioni’s 5 Dysfunctions of a Team with two great leadership teams.

We’ll be exploring what it really takes to create healthy debate within teams — and the interpersonal skills needed to challenge, question, disagree and have those sometimes difficult conversations in a way that strengthens rather than damages relationships.

Because healthy teams aren’t teams that always agree… they’re teams where people feel safe enough to disagree well. 💬

I’m looking forward to some great conversations, plenty of reflection and, hopefully, a few lightbulb moments along the way! 🌟

Thankful Thursday

It was so lovely to return to the same hotel in Tenerife after 25 years and have a complete chill out week. Everything was great – food, accommodation, gardens and facilities and the best thing was the friendly staff, some of whom were still there from all those years ago!

I’m wondering what you are thankful for this Thursday?

What a fabulous four days we’ve had on our NLP Diploma in Coaching!

I feel incredibly lucky to have worked with such a fabulous group of people.
There was a real willingness to hold space for each other, learn from each other, challenge themselves and step outside their comfort zones — and the insights and learning that came from that were amazing to witness.

For me, this is what learning is all about. It’s not just about gaining knowledge; it’s about being curious, trying things out, having those lightbulb moments and discovering new possibilities in ourselves and in the way we work with others.

If you’re curious about NLP and how it could enhance your leadership, communication and everyday interactions, I’d love to have a chat.

Please do get in touch — I’m always happy to share more about what we do.

✨ Today’s the day! ✨

I’m super excited to be starting our 4-day NLP Diploma in Coaching this morning and welcoming a brand-new group of people as they begin their own NLP journey.

I always love that feeling at the start of a programme — a room full of curiosity, possibility and people ready to learn something new. And I’m just as curious to see what we will discover and learn together over the next four days!

NLP has had such a powerful influence on my own coaching and development journey. It can give us practical tools to:
🌱 Build confidence
💬 Enhance the quality of our conversations
🧠 Understand ourselves and others more deeply
✨ Tap into our potential
🎯 Create greater clarity and achieve our goals

For me, it’s not about learning a collection of techniques — it’s about becoming more curious about how we think, communicate and create change.

If you’re curious about how NLP could support you, your coaching or your leadership, I’d love to hear from you.

Here’s to another NLP journey beginning! 💫

Thankful Thursday

Very sadly Cat Steven went over the rainbow bridge on Monday. I’m so thankful that he decided to come in and find us when he was poorly. He’d was a rescue cat from Animals in Need Charity and we were told he would only ever be an outside cat living in the hay barns. Yet he knew to come and be with us when he started to feel bad and spent the last 10 day purring round our legs and being stroked inside.

I feel privileged to have been able to care for him for the last 5 years after the bad start he had in life.

I’m wondering what you are thankful for this Thursday?

Thankful Thursday

What a privilege it was to see my niece, Matilda Bailes, perform in Much Ado About Nothing at the Shakespeare Globe. I couldn’t be prouder. It was such a delight (and I shed a few tears) to see her doing what she loves so much.

And it was so lovely sharing the experience with so many of our family. Special times!

I’m wondering what you are thankful for this Thursday?

🐴 The next generation of horse lovers… ❤️

There’s something very special about seeing a love of horses being passed from one generation to the next.

Heidi has been part of the Horses for Courses® family for the last 12 years, and it has been such a joy to watch her journey, her passion and her connection with horses grow over that time.

So, to now see her children following in her footsteps and developing their own love of these incredible animals is just wonderful.

Horses have a funny way of getting under your skin. They teach us so much about trust, connection, patience, communication and simply being present — lessons that stay with us long after we leave the yard.

And perhaps one of the loveliest things about what we do is knowing that the next generation is discovering that magic too.

If you’d like to find out more about Horses for Courses® Please do get in touch – [email protected]

Here’s to the next generation of horse lovers… and all the adventures still to come! 🐎✨
